I didn't think it was hoofball all the time. I thought we showed some nice passing movements in and around their box, especially the start of the second half. The second half wasn't just about seeing out the result. We took the game to them for the first twenty minutes and were unlucky not to add a second during that time.

Wasn't there Saturday so can't comment on the game, but one of the things I like about this side is that they seem to know when to play and when to hoof. Always good when teams can mix it up depending on circumstances.

I tend to class hoof-ball as pumping it out of defence with the hope that someone will be there get on the end of it but invariably doesn't.
Conversely a ball hoofed up field and picked up by one of ours is a decisive pass.

And not just because we won!

What would now be nice is to have PP's report on England's win in the test match. Are there enough (positive) explitives?

I didn't think it was hoofball all the time. The clue here was in the words: "At times it was just hoofball ..."

Why are people editing quotes to make it look as if someone else said it?

The Proboards formatting quirk that doesn't always let you write underneath what you are quoting?

It can get a little confusing.

A lot of the time the poster will just leave the original quote with nothing at all written underneath.
