Would not be such a problem with better and more effective policing.
This requires a proper Peeler in situ!

Give the guilty a 3 point choice, 1st offence, a custodial sentence and rehabilitation course .Second offence mandatory 5 year minimum custodial sentence. Third offence, offender given the choice (a) life imprisonment with no parole or (b) the death penalty. I'm pretty sure this would stop the majority from offending. The problem is this country doesn't have the bollocks to do it.

Another reason normal people avoid town centres. An employee of Zoo nightclub chased a man into the bus station, punched him on the head four times, kicked him several times when he was down on the ground, then punched him four more times. He had previous convictions including battery, possession of a prohibited weapon and a grievous bodily harm conviction for which he received an eight-month suspended sentence. His punishment was community service and paying the victim £114. www.kentonline.co.uk/maidstone/news/nightclub-manager-shown-cctv-of-him-punching-and-kicking-p-299994/

Vicious stuff like that needs appropriate consequences, which that certainly wasn't. Noticed yesterday that House of Fraser is closing down, meaning the whole of the hat end of Fremlins Walk will be vacant.

Noticed yesterday that House of Fraser is closing down, meaning the whole of the hat end of Fremlins Walk will be vacant. House of Fraser is closing for refurbishment and rebranding. The new version will include some of Ashley’s other brands including Sports Direct. I guess that will mean the closure of Sports Direct in The Mall.

Cafes, hair and nail bars, phone and charity shops is about all we have left now. Exactly the same in Tonbridge, and there are now 17 empty units in the high street that were filled last year even the charity shops are closing.
