Poor decision
Although Weymouth would have been one I would have segregated given when it was (but not if it were a Tuesday in November)
A knee jerk reaction, and it's our club looking like the jerks
Thank you very much Bill & MUFC for giving clubs an excuse to treat us poorly away

Dont tar them all with the same brush. Yes some of the actions were not great but no one got hurt and our stewards didnt help matters.Being petty over not having a shirt on really Here we go again. It's always the stewards' fault, never the bellends behaving like knuckle dragging morons. Was you in that area Dave seeing and hearing what was going on? NO thought not

NO thought not Well you believe whatever you want. But if people wouldn't behave like that anywhere else why should they get away with at football. Whenever there's s problem at the Gallagher, people like you jump to the defence of the neanderthals who are involved, but we're in the 21st century now, the 80s have been left far behind together with the kind of loutish behaviour you seem to support.

I’m torn as I hate the way modern football is being sanitised.
I am able to go to a game, have a beer or 4 and enjoy it. If we lose, I am annoyed. If I was goaded by away fans, I’m not sure I would walk away in every case - I probably would - but not 100% sure. I wouldn’t throw any punches but would be giving it back for sure. My point is that the behaviour of 5 or 10 away fans can bring 10 or 15 fans, who wouldn't usually be any trouble, into play.
I do like the non-segregation aspect but equally can see that beer + tribalism is a recipe for flashpoints. It’s not ok to expect our stewards or security to deal with it.
It’s a sensible decision.

Responsibility lies with the Weymouth morons who couldn't handle their drink running up and down goading the home fans. There was enough of them looking like a threat to force the stewards to act. The guy who invaded the pitch has to be removed no iffs or butts and when several of the Weymouth fans tried to intervene with his removal they should have known better. One even took a swing at a steward from behind but luckily didn't connect. It took one Weymouth fan to get in the face of another to get him to calm down.
If that's acceptable to anyone then it's laughable if we want our club to be safe for all fans young and old, a family club something had to be done.
Far too many think this sort of behaviour should be tolerated. As others have said it only takes a handful of dickheads and some easily led ones to cause a major issue.
No doubt our stewards aren't perfect but I'm glad their there putting themselves forward in a high tension situation.
Don't want to be treated like a scum don't act like scum simples

Exactly. Perhaps adding a few to the list would have been better. Havant etc Havant only brought 60-70 last season and that was for a big relegation 6 pointer. The only teams that will bring decent numbers are Wealdstone, Dulwich (we never had problems with them), Dartford, Tonbridge, Welling & Chelmsford. Crazy overreaction. But maybe it was the Old Bill's decision, not the club's? Terrible shame if we welcome a decent set of supporters like DH's back to JWW by segregating them.

Sad to say but I can see us banning drinking why watching the game.
You just know idiots will start throwing pints across the segregation ''fence'' and boom one of the few decent things about being in this league will be taken away.

I am sure Kent Police had a major say in the decision, Which throws any possibility of common sense completely out of the window

I would guess that most if not all our away games will not be segregated so why do we have problems at home?

It's all about public safety. Every set of away fans behaves differently. If the Weymouth lot had done like others and stood in the middle of the Elvis End, some of ours would have reacted, with unpredictable results. I love seeing visiting fans in the Spitfire, but it's just not worth the risk. I would still like visitors to have the Town End, but no point in that if the stewards can't keep them behind metal barriers. We are too big for the league we're in, but not big enough for the league we've just left.

It's not a case of not being big enough for the National League its we don't have enough money for it.

Both right.
We are too big for the league we're in, but can't afford the league we've just left.
Answer? f**k knows.

Invalid theory as anything can be thrown across the segregation anyway, money hungry directors won’t lose the 80k a season.

(There was 4 already on him ), a 5th jumped on him and started throttling him. That was a bit excessive. But again your right. If you don’t act like a c**t you won’t get treated like one
