I would deffo sign Ryan Johnson and Sadu Khan, and Simon Mensah if he was the chunky No 17 that came on against Daggers......unless that was Marcel Barrington??? in which case sign him!
McClure didn't look the part at all, too much like a Quigley - ran around a lot but didn't win much, and what about Stephen Ohoh Okoh???
I would sign Mr Okoh along with Ryan and Sadu. But we still need another midfielder and that elusive central striker.
Thoughts??

"McClure didn't look the part at all, too much like a Quigley - ran around a lot but didn't win much" Quigley ran around? McClure was streets better than Edwards but the trialist who played on the wing in 2nd half (Marcel Barrington?) looked useful and plays as a number 9. I would like to see what he can do there and failing that Justin Amaluzar who played there for Braintree. Barringtons pedigree is a bit unusual as he never stays long at a club. 19 clubs and he is only 23?

I remember Quigley running around so much he ended up defending and in midfield but as a goal scorer he was useless! Was Barrington the chunky 17 or the tall 10?

Just the other day Hythe announced they had re-signed Ryan Johnson.

Calm down oldboy. This is only a trialist being signed and you know what the club's record is with trialists. Not great. It means the player did not impress enough at their previous club, to justify signing outright. Having posted with my negative hat on I must admit Saidou looks pretty useful and is def worth a punt.

This does not always mean the player did not impress enough at their previous club Nick. In this case it is the player trying to get a move up the ladder to further his career.

As always (nearly) you are right Mr Butler. But over recent seasons our track record on signing triallists has been less than stellar. There again, many of our mainstream signings have left a lot to be desired too. I take it back. Good luck Saidou and welcome to the club.

He looked good on Tuesday night. I can see him & Corne starting as the CMs against Weymouth.

But time will tell. Glad we “missed out” (??) on Ryan Johnson though, he’s definitely NOT NLS standard. Bostik Prem at best.
