Tonbridge were a shambles today, partly due to injuries, but I pointed out it was a mistake to play Tommie Fagg in a back three, he was needed in midfield, and Jay took the hint at half time and brought on Ben Swift. Tonbridge drew the second half 1 -1, shame they'd lost the first half 3 - 0.

Plenty of naughty steps around the terraces for players to sit on and contemplate the errors of their ways!

It’s the “heavy loss hierarchy”. 1) Blame me not the players 2) The fans deserve an apology 3) They’ll be in for extra training tomorrow 4) Refund the travelling fans It’s for the fans and for show

Another article in Kent online today about Ebbsfleet's plans for a new stadium. All the usual stuff, but had to smile at the bit that said "at least 20 fans" attended the meeting to hear about the proposals. Only need another 7980 and their 8000 stadium will be full, once built.

It's a grand idea and they have some backers clearly but I'd think the Princes Park route would be a better idea than the Jim Thompson route. By that I mean a suitable ground for a NL team.
Very ambitious. If it works out then great. They must think the interest is there. I'm not so sure.
Wonder how much money they invested in their current ground.

I'm losing track - how long has this Ebbsfleet dream been going on now?

At least 20.. you'd think with that few the reporter could have actually counted.

The luckiest non league club in existence. First they had the MyFootballClub money, then the £15 million of Middle Eastern money, now a free stadium paid for by housing developments. We couldn’t get more than one local businessman to chuck in £150,000 towards the new ground.

What happened to sword's pre-season scoop of a number of business people lobbing in around 250k each ?
It sounded like a done deal at the time.
A dead cert !

I remember some in the Elvis end singing “you’re getting sacked in the morning” at Hak last season.
Let’s show a little faith and have some patience.
