Well the live debate was a damp squib with the same arguments rehashed all over again. I thought Corbyn was better than Johnson (well I would say that wouldn't I).
Johnson showed us what he is with a few whoppers (like the fact the UK is leaving all together) and a lot of bluster showing how unprepared he is. He cannot simply survive just blundering and bluffing on through. Is 'Get Brexit Done' the new 'Strong and Stable'?
Corbyn still leaves us wondering what his core beliefs are around Brexit. Is he leave or remain? The main issue for him is convincing the public that his policies are credible and possible.

So no change there, then. Which still leaves me with no candidate to vote for. So I'm e-mailing Helen Whateley to find out her position on Brexit, which strangely doesn't get mentioned in her election circular.

Tories very much found out in terms of telling lies (or less than the truth as one BBC reporter put it), but sadly that doesn't seem to bother many people. The fact that the audience actually laughed at Buck and Jezza ought to be a wake up call to both of them, but again, suspect it won't. 25% of people under 34 and the same proportion of people from ethnic minorities are reported not to have registered to vote yet, which is also worrying. The country is desperate to get a government it can't be arsed to vote for.

But that is not as much fun as rattling someone's cage - as you well know!

Liar or no head for detail? Buck Foris claims his tax cuts will put £500 in everyone's pocket, when the reality, even from his own party sources is actually only £100. Yet still he insists he is right. So,we know he tell lies as a matter of course, but now we also know he does not understand his own policies, or bothers to check the details. For me, that is more than a tad worrying, as is also the Tory boast of more money in my pocket. May not work for all, but I'll happily forgo the £100 if it means better public services. After all £100 a year is barely half a pint of beer a week and actually less than the cost of a coffee in Costa or Starbucks. Tories out of touch with reality? You bet.

He just doesn't understand anything. It shows that someone else is running Brexit because, for sure, it ain't him!

Just noticed a report that says De La Rue, the British firm which prints ours and many of the world's banknotes, is in trouble. Why? Because they also print our passports, but post Brexit, the contract is going to a French/Dutch firm. Bonkers or what? Surely, if we have to leave Europe, we should be looking after our own?

Sadly, I fear this is what people are going to learn. The ultra brexit mob want lower standards tariffs etc so they can produce/import at the lowest possible cost. Once they drain the UK's wealth they move on to leave shell-shocked population picking up the pieces. They are looking after their own but, unlike you, they are not talking nationality. They only use that to get people to vote for nonsense

Really? The Tories are 10-15 points ahead in the polls and Buck Foris is going to 'get it done'. Far more likely we leave without a deal, which will make Farage and all of the Tory elite very happy and the rest of us up the proverbial.

Surely the whole point of the EU was to get the best goods at the cheapest price by having more variety. Brexit then must be about having less variety and paying more, but as long as it s made in Britain, regardless of whether it's good quality or not, we re all happy. Only 2 things will come from Brexit we'll get poorer and angrier.

Labour majority government is my pick sadly. And then more years of utter chaos and levels of division, hatred and anger yet to make an appearance.
