Love the line about banging down the gates of the JWW to get to work.
Seems like whatever their pedigree or background, he and JS2 are getting players with the right attitude which I hope is something we can all agree on and look forward to.

Squad is shaping up nicely. Precisely, I'm still apprehensive about if they can deliver automatic promotion with Doswell bringing Sutton United to the coast, but it's already looking interesting! The signings seem to have the right mentality. |

Squad is shaping up nicely. Precisely, I'm still apprehensive about if they can deliver automatic promotion with Doswell bringing Sutton United to the coast, but it's already looking interesting! The signings seem to have the right mentality. Automatic promotion was never guaranteed, and I think there could be at least ten strong teams in NLS, not just Havant, out of whom all could be contenders for promotion but I believe that we will be in that top ten somewhere - hopefully quite high up - and it will be an exciting fight.
H&W could be early favourites to win it, just because of who they have got in and the Manager, but a ball hasn't even been kicked yet so anything can still happen.

Last season was a disaster!

Last season we paid over the odds for young players from higher up the ladder or experienced National league players. Don’t believe we had many from the league below and those we did were from Ricay! So far HH and JS2 are delivering on what they said and the squad is developing nicely. Long may this continue! |

its a shame facebook doesnt agree all they done last couple of weeks of the season was slag hakan off with no mention of JS2 and say thats hes why we got relegated nope it was poor decision making from the owners which im happy that they regret there decision now and a manager who couldnt motivate players in a brothel

They wanted a complete new team but weren’t happy that John wanted to go and scout players. What was he supposed to do? Get a whole new squad based on others say so, word of mouth and videos?
They judge the players brought in so far based on their Wiki page history.
I’d rather judge John Stills football judgement than some weirdos on the FB page.

Wheeler did try to address this but went about it completely the wrong way. Still and Hakan are being methodical in their recruitment and so far whilst there are no big name signings that we all want i like what the are doing. Building a strong spine to the team is a must and with knight and clovis it looks like we have that in central defence and midfield something we lacked during our three year stay in nl. What we as fans need to do is let still and hakan continue to build a new squad and give them time to do this without panicking and crying out for signings to be announced. If we start having fans jumping on a band wagon trying to force through new signings then we could end up like last season with the wrong players, we just need to be patient, what was that Guinness slogan on their adverts "good things come to those who wait". |

(Punctuation Max) Sadly pwoodstone our fans have been spoilt with our rise through the leagues quite quickly and have turned into arsenal fans with delusions of grandeur, we could sign Kane, Salah and aguero and our fans would moan and whinge about it. Everyone thinks that they can do a better job than the manager owners yet they have never owned or managed a sports team. They think they know everything based on how well they played a championship manager computer game, which are so far from reality. We could even go the whole of next season unbeaten, win the league and the fa trophy and get a great run in the fa cup and some of our fans would still moan and whinge about things. People say wheeler created a toxic atmosphere well some of our fans are just as toxic imo. |

I done even look at the FB page and that sounds like a good call. Far more sense spoken in this forum.
Agree with last few posts about HH seeming to get the recruitment right now and new signings moving in the right direction.
Also agree that relegation last year wasn’t solely down to the clown and we may have still struggled under Jay or ANO, but I don’t think we should forget or underestimate just how much damage HW did to the club in general by being totally the wrong man for the club and the job, and the utter madness his style brought on us all.
It is certainly due to HW that we came bottom and had such an impossibly demotivated and disinterested squad.
However I’m really looking forward to the clown being ancient history when the new team wins a few games in NLS and we hopefully do the double over the Ricay! COYS!

(Punctuation Max) i dont do punctuation. i need to use it but the thing is i make posts about performances especially the salford one(which i thought was decent, they were just better than us) and was getting remarks of what the f**k was you watching and how did you think that was good well im allowed my own opinion and another thing. they dont like opinions it seems |
