Does segregation mean we can't use their bar? Or the club shop???

I see from Sutton's website that segregation will apply to this match. (What is less clear is what part of the ground the away turnstiles are in.)
For someone who has watched the stones there umpteen times across many years without the need for segregation this is very sad.
Can't help but think that the Met Police might well have been influenced by the behaviour of our 'yoof' at Bromley last week. It might also be influenced by the behaviour of some of our fans there last time as well, they really did let us down.

Does segregation mean we can't use their bar? Or the club shop??? You can use the bar and there is real ale for those who like the stuff If you wanted something from the club shop just ask one of the club officials for help.

A colleague questioned a policeman about the substantial police presence in the away section yesterday. At the end there was one uniformed police officer for every 9 away supporters.
The response was that this was based on 'intelligence' at least partly based on the events at Bromley on Tuesday. He did acknowledge that what they thought might happen, and that they had prepared for, clearly hadn't happened.
That explained the segregation and the 'enjoyment' of those Stones supporters who stayed in the sweat box / sauna that the metal shelter behind the goal became in the hot sun.

There were 3 police at Sutton train station and in the old bank pub a couple turned up and warned the landlady about possible trouble ,I pointed out that if there was any trouble it would be because you lot started it do sod off and leave us alone. They thought about replying and then turned and left.

Their intelligence officer is probably the guy who advised Blair on Saddams WMD's that were going to wipe Birmingham off the face of the map at the drop of a hat, along with every other UK city.

It didn't shock me that we were segregated after some of our fans behaviour there last season, what did shock me was the lack of any common sense by Sutton with regards to facilities and supplies of cold drinks to away fans on a day like that. It was just as well we had a poor turnout in that heat, they sold out of water half way through the first half, other drinks Ribena, Lucozade etc from the fridge in the burger van were not cold. The first of our fans to pass out when i asked a steward to contact a first aider seemed to have no idea and have no clue, thankfully someone else had gone round the corner to where the police/pat down stewards were and they came around and called a first aider out. Even then that was poorly done, four first aider came out and were about to walk straight past as there was a home fan in trouble and we had to explain to them well two of you go there and two of you stay here. The first aider that stayed with the Maidstone fan realised that we were in a hot box and went and got a packet of water from the first aid facilities not the clubs and they gave these out, which was a great gesture despite not being enough, he and the young lad who worked for the club acknowledged there was an issue and could lead to more people passing out so they at least tried. The young guy and the lead first aider came back a few minutes later with a couple of jugs of water and some plastic cups and were passing drinks out. At no stage were more drinks sent down to the burger van, we would've been happy to pay for drinks especially water on a day like that. Imagine if we would've turned up with the usual numbers that go to games it would have resulted in a fair few more fans passing out than the three who did. Sutton seemed completely unprepared to be able to deal with a small number of fans in a hot box on a sunny day like that which was disappointing and to be honest a surprise, Sutton are usually a well organised club and friendly as well. I hope that we have taken note of this in case our home game next week is in a similar heat and that we ensure that all fans have access to cold refreshments and stocks do not run out.

Hope you all enjoyed the summer because the last two days were it

I wonder if their intelligence came from someone Welsh, ginger and a dodgy sense of humour.
