So we start the season with JS in charge and end the season with JS in charge. Bit early to be confident of that. A lot can happen in 3 months.

So we start the season with JS in charge and end the season with JS in charge. Could have saved all the fuss and just left JS in charge!

Yep, assuming that we have all got this right and the club is appointing John Still as Head of Football Hakan Heyrettin as Head Coach Simon Walton as Player Coach Then it looks excellent. Very happy. As in all sorts of life there is a chain of command and we are no different. The players report to the Walton man The Walton man reports to the Hakan man The Hakan man reports to the Stilly man The Stilly man reports to the Billy man The Billy man reports to the owner man The owner man reports to the tax man The tax man reports to the Brexit Queen The Brexit Queen reports to the proper Queen The proper Queen reports at Xmas to the common man And the common man watches the player men And the players......

Still is a great appt it’s his No2 that’s the concern. It’s all about partnerships though. Would expect Stills 1st request was to get his own assistant in. As long as Still is firmly in charge and is a hands on No1 and not a remote or semi retired part time DOF leaving HH try to become a good NL No1 with us after failing to do it with the mighty Braintree, then we should be ok.

Worry not oldboy. The Dream Team has been appointed. This is a time for positive thinking , Just my opinion, Nick, but going so far as to say its a "Dream Team" is putting on several pairs of rosey coloured specs, until we see how that team works in practise.
We still have to have a bit of realism for goodness sake! My Dream Team would have been JS and JS with SW, but we all know that impossible so lets not go down that track again!
However, persuading John Still to come out of retirement and - hopefully - do a shift for us in the dugout as No1 is definitely a coup for us, very encouraging, and I'm right behind that. Cant wait to see him at the next home game in our dugout. We may even start winning at home, have an outside chance of escaping the drop, and following Stones at JWW may well become fun again. Yes, I am 100% behind John Still's appointment as No1, and COYS!

Meanwhile the cashpoint at Asda has swallowed Jay Saunders' card and he's fuming.

Just listen to John's interview, its clear as day he will be running the show and having a hands on approach.

Yes, I have now listened to the recently posted interview, and that's great to hear - very good news indeed. Good to see he still has the appetite for being a hands on No1 again. Lets hope the team is able to respond to keep him enthused. COYS! I might even put Nicks rosey coloured specs on and start believing in a miracle!
