Back on topic, I thought Jamie Philpot looked a decent prospect and certainly got about them - I'd certainly like to see a bit more of him.
Anyone else notice he was on the pitch?

Then don't criticize me if I mention him. You can't have it both ways. [br Daveu. It’s so f**king boring. You’ve kept this shit going for about 5 months now. Can’t you just let it go. Bit like the BBC. Nothing but repeats I'm afraid Dave is like a dog with a bone now. He will go on and on relentlessly until he grinds jakeyboi down with his petty nitpcking

David I was posting in response to Nicks comment and you decided that because I mentioned Saunders name you will try an turn it upside down an make a massive mountain out of the little mole-hill. I do not have to explain myself to you or anyone, dont like what I post then dont bloody read them. I bet you can start an argument in your sleep. Then don't criticize me if I mention him. You can't have it both ways. And when was the last time I did that exactly David? As with many other things in your life you have been a tad premature in starting this petty argument.

Totally agree he did fine when he got given his chance, thing I liked is that you could see he was trying an never really gave up. Well worth another chance.

I have to admit that by the time he came on I had virtually lost all interest in the game and therefore didn't really track how he was doing so I can't really comment. Chuck him in from the start on Tuesday, providing he is not cup tied, and give him the whole game to get used to the rest of the team and then let's se what he can do at the O's it's worth a shot as nothing else is working.

Your spot on Sword, we are at that stage now where we have nothing to lose in trying new formations an who knows they could turn out to be saviours.

Easy to say, but we have been trying new formations all season to little or no effect. Certainly worth experimenting one last time at Dartford, but after that either we find the money to buy a striker or two, or S&T need to down and decide what their best 11 is and (injuries/suspensions notwithstanding) stick to it. Doubt we've put the same team out two games running and all the faffing about with changes and systems needs to stop. Maybe, just maybe, a bit of team spirit and consistency can develop in time for a few players to actually want to play for us next season.

Given the thiness of the squad, that shouldn't be too difficult...

The only reason I suggested trying the un-tried on Tuesday night is that it won,t be a massive blow if we were to lose.

We are all clutching at straws. Not much fun in August, less fun in December and a good chance we could find ourselves rock bottom by the end of the next home game.

Give rest to Romain and Robinson on the bench with WDH, Powell and Edobor and put Wassmer and Swain as Centre backs between Phillips and George Mac. Walton has a night to focus on Managing and play a Midfield of Taylor, Pax, Aryan and Wishart. If it all goes Pete Tong, the bench can come on, but at least we are giving first team start opportunities to those who are normally on the bench. Best use of the KSC I can think of!

I thought he looked a good prospect too. Could work well with Romain. But we could do with a big guy up front to bully defenders.
