Thanks for that insight. As a veteran of the Leyton and Tonbridge games talked about, I was enjoying this thread. But hey. You do realise I'm applying those to how MUFC have progressed (OUR ground / owner etc) not quality of away-day, don't you? If I made a list of favourite 20 Stones matches, MK Dons and Leyton Orient wouldn't even be close, but games at Deal, Beckenham, Sevenoaks, Winchester would be near the top.

Not heard that but it would not surprise me one little bit as Leyton was a desperate club in dire financial trouble and their squad probably went unpaid so the odd villain helping themselves would not seem unlikely. The club folded not long after this game . some of us were in dire trouble after a few beers in the local, and then foolishly taking on the burger hut, Christ I was ill for 3 days, but I must have lost a stone.... Can't imagine you without tits!
