It was always vital that new season recruitment strengthened the team. Just another example of a below par signing that wasn't going to cut the mustard in the National League Ultimately cost somebody his job. But were they entirely his signings?

In the event of a draw after 90ish minutes is there a replay or have we and Oxford agreed to complete the tie today?

really?
Looks fairly bland to me.
Almost, but not quite, as bland as the Match previews that appear on our website. I know I'm old but I'm sure ours are less informative this season than previously.

No point in getting to excited with our current, indeed long term, home form!

Very Respectful, esp of our fanbase …... really?

Was respectful though, what if these things actually told the truth, could've said ' Maidstone are a rudderless team promoted too soon, lacking direction from the top & desperately threshing around for a source of league points, let Tshimnaga tear into them ' , that would have been refreshing

But we live in a world where you can’t say what you think for fear of offence so you’ll never read anything as interesting as that!

Looking at all the other threads let’s hope Jack Richards gets a run out today and does really well.

No point in getting to excited with our current, indeed long term, home form! Getting to where? "Excited" apparently. Isn't that down in Devon?

The problem is, if the Stones are playing at Excited City, i'm not sure the long term home form is going to be that relevant, although as with most things, I am probably wrong.

Playing well and scores a good un. Indeed, we are playing the ball around nicely and easily looked the better team till we scored and have stood off since then. Oxford could easily have scored at the end end of the half when we gave it away, playing for time in the Oxford half! 30 Oxford fans chant " you don't know what you're doing" when the ref doesn't give a penalty. Welcome to our world. Thinking about it, can't remember away fans ever doing that, which certainly says something

Anyone know who Tommy Fagg is? No name, no number and thus far, no much idea. .
