Also slighty OT - but I was always impressed by how many different names Seth appeared to have. Are we are still talking about Watford Woking?
If so one of those names was actually Jamar Loza!! - but how two people could come up with about 5 different pronunciations during the course of a game was quite impressive. EDIT : Ah okay I see we weren't - thought you might be having a senior moment ;-) Not me!

Back in the early 70's Middlesbrough had a young player called Andrew Fieldmouse and although the name isnt particularly funny i do remember him being fined for missing the team coach to Luton even though he ran home ,jumped in his car and arrived at Kenilworth Road an hour before they did.

Kaka always made me smile.
In Hungary (and probably other countries), it is the children's word for shit.

Didn't play at the Gallagher but Danny Shittu was a rock solid defender at championship league 1 level.
I also liked Eliott Justham and the chant "you're just a shit Tesco sandwich".
There is/was a player whose name was something along the lines of jennel mark Lewis and one teams fans chanted "his name is a shop".

Danny Shittu played for QPR and Millwall QPR also had a player called Dou Dou - seems to be a theme going on, shame they could not afford Kaka too. How are the shirt names decided. Many foreign players do not have their "proper" names. Can they just chose a name? If so when will we see a Superman or worse?

Interesting about the player names Javier Hernandez played for Manchester United but on his shirt was chiquarito which was his nickname, i might be wrong but think it meant "little pea". Also remember Jordan Ibe left Liverpool for Bournemouth but had Jordan on his shirt rather than Ibe. I don't know of any rules regulations about names on shirts but i have seen twice players with there three initials on the back of there shirt. It's not something I've ever looked into in terms of rules but always had a feeling that players who do it are egotistical twats, they must be even ol Cristiano Ronaldo hasn't done it.

I think you can have anything on your shirt as long as that name is registered along with your real name. Years ago a Morroccan player Hakim Ben Zaffir wore Ben Hur on his shirt and was later shot dead in an Algerian brothel.

Or steer clear of Algerian brothels.
