Yes, I read that with interest earlier. Tristan is certainly going out of his way to distance himself from Harry's 'regime'. I guess he wants us to recognise him as an individual and not as Harry's mate who got left behind. Fair enough I suppose.

I reckon even he became disillusioned with the way Harry went about this.
A'm all for trying new things and seeing if one works. you do need a bit more stability though.

He has talked a lot about having love for the players as well, the strong implication being that Harry was trying to be a hard man in the changing room, and that it made him seem cold and aloof. Recently, we certainly haven't heard players going on about how much they love playing here, as they did when Jay was manager. Tristan is right in thinking that needs to fundamentally change.

There is no reason to doubt that Harry didn't work hard.
But to dismantle the team rather than strengthen it was his undoing.
Also his infatuation with hoofball was never going to work at this level.
In most cases but not all he recruited players of similar ability to those he junked.
Still we have a lack of balance and quality in key playing positions.
What a waste of time and effort.
At least Tristan and Simon talk the language that supporters understand.

I actually feel somewhat sorry for Harry when reading this interview.
Tristan has been Harry's number 2 wherever he's gone and is meant to be his mate, yet Tristan has pretty much just cunted him off and thrown him under the bus to desperately try and take his former job.

Tristan saw what he was doing to club, the players, the fans, everyone! I don't blame him even if it was for his own personal gain.
He finally grew tired of the fraud even being his best mate.
Wheeler was like Adolf Hitler he had to be stopped!

You really don't have anything good to say about anyone do you. Personally I admire Tristan's honesty, and his guts in telling his mate it wasn't working out because he risked losing his own job as well. I have no sympathy for Harry, he got what his performance deserved and if Tristan doesn't turn it around he'll go the same way.

Harry brought Tristan into the club and this is how Tristan treats a so called mate?? sorry but I agree with Rob Swaine on this one it comes across as a snake move. You expect some loyalty and backing from your assistant/friend not for them to stab you in the back.

We are, of course, not getting Harry's side of all this.
Just like we didn't get Jay's.

In fact it's their duty as a friend to tell you. Besides, whatever Tristan said Harry didn't need to act on it, and it wasn't ultimately down to Tristan that Harry left the club. Unless you're privy to their private conversation you have no idea what was said, or how it was handled, so you're just making stuff up out of thin air to fuel yet another aggressively negative rant.

Are you serious? I have zero sympathy for HW. I had a good chat with Tristan on NYE and he tried desperately to give his opinions. Buck stops with the manager and Tristan is well within his rights to give it a go as manager. Wether it works out or not is another matter of course!
