You may disagree with his theory, but maybe we should all start trying to limit the name calling when someone posts a different opinion to your own. Then we might actually be getting somewhere. Do you do this in your everyday life when someone says something you disagree with? I thought "idiot" was pretty mild - I get worse just for being boring! It wasn't so much for disagreeing, anyway, it was the sheer unreality or his 'analysis' that caused the reaction. Almost like it was posted by an existing poster as a wind-up...

Fair enough woodstone, but if somebody writes like an idiot and sounds like an idiot, the chances are they are an - - - - -.

I do. But only when people postulate made up theories based on nothing.
Jay Saunders was sacked not because of a fear of relegation but of promotion.
Utter nonsense. Needed more name calling not less.

Now now girls behave, put your socks on your hands, lock your doors and get your magazines out.

It’s Jay Saunders fault. He got us three promotions in quick succession, he was ambitious, he brought good players in, early days last season he had us buzzing, the bookies had us as one of the favorites to gain yet another promotion. But then all of a sudden players started leaving, why was that, Jay had us in 4 th position, was it that the Directors were scared of the success that he was bringing?

Do you do this in your everyday life when someone says something you disagree with? An opinion is a viewpoint. Surely it’s not herberts view that the Directors are pumping money in for failure

I had a very realistic dream last night (it's the statins). Oliver was telling me that the reports about the budget were just propaganda, and in fact he was skint, but don't tell anyone. So I haven't.

But getting right fed up with some of the perpetual moaners on this forum. Yes - This!
But actually I thought this particular thread was more level headed than most. Enjoy the trip tomorrow, oh and don't forget to bring the points back! Agree Gromley. It makes a change to have some interesting thoughts on a topic but not surprisingly it starts to degenerate into a slanging match!! Hopefully the team can put a run together and stay up. COYS

Can only concur. There are times when this forum makes interesting, entertaining reading, but then it all dissolves into points scoring, which you start following only to quickly regret it. There is a saying that goes:
"Never argue with an idiot. He will drag you down to his level and then beat you with experience."
Sadly, more than a few threads suffer from this. Trouble is, those that lower the tone either don't realise what they are doing or worse, actually do and take perverse pleasure in it. Such is life.

I think the final clause of your penultimate sentence perfectly describes the main culprit.

Please do tell me at what point last year did the bookies have us as favorites for promotion.
