Lewis or Walton ? Yes he has deleted now but was up for at least an hour. Yes not a good look and will be interesting to see if he is offloaded. I was surprised he wasn’t at least on the bench though.

I thought you could only appeal a straight red?? It was a straight red Oh, right! On SL, it sounded like it was a second yellow.

I wonder if we'll get today's red overturned as well?!
Too far away to see exactly what happened, but it appeared to us to be something that happened on the ground that Wishart retaliated to. But, to be honest, so many players were involved – both in the original incident and afterwards - that we really had no idea what was going on. As others have said, the ref was very clear though - he'd got the red out before he'd even started running over.
Getting back to the OP - is getting two reds overturned in a row any sort of record? Getting just one overturned is fairly unusual - two in a row is weird (or suggests that the refs really have got it in for us!).

Swain's red wasn't really the ref's fault. In real time it did look a fairly robust challenge and Lewis certainly made sure the ref saw it in the worst possible light. If there were any justice he would get a retrospective ban for being a cheating c**t, not behaviour you would expect against a team where he used to be a bit of a hero.

Lewis is a genuine guy , but as seen before when playing against his previous club , he gets in situations that result in a bit of controversy. He was sent off for us when we played the Fleet in that game and if it was the case against Dover , his dramatic reaction to Swaine challenge resulted in the latter being red carded. The return fixture at home should provide plenty of incidents , hopefully a victory for us and get the Gallagher rocking once again ! COYS ⚽️🖤💛
