Why not if it is for the good of the club. This is not just about results on the pitch. The whole culture of the club has changed and I don't know of many, if any, fans who think it has changed for the better. Neither do I and I am with you 100% but appointing Jay is not going to save us this year and so I would like to see him given an extended contract maybe 3 years to rebuild the club properly a rolling one year contract heaps too much pressure on him to do things too quickly. We do not belong in this league yet but 3 years time it could be different we will have grown as a club and learnt from our mistakes and come back stronger than we are now and I would also like to see him appoint an experienced assistant not just a mate, someone who can say listen Jay I think you maybe wrong on this or that point ,someone who Jay will listen to and hopefully take notice of.

As soon as we get back to this level we will still have the same problems we have now. Money wise we just can't seem compete in this league....you just need to look at our summer recruitment the last 3 summers. We have never recruited well and even Jay had to make constant changes after the season had started. So unless Terry and Oliver suddenly come into loads of money or we get new owners, things will be no different when we get back into this league.

I just can't see things changing at this level, if anything with more and more bankrolled teams and ex football league clubs getting stuck in this league it will just push wages higher and higher. Its already mostly a full time league as it is and only really non league in name, its more of a unofficial League 3 nowadays. So we are pretty much stuck in limbo.....a club who on paper are big enough for this league, but financially we just can't compete in it.

All this chatter about Jay coming back is unhelpful. No chance and it's not going to happen any time soon. Mr Saunders could be back managing soon in the Ryman League (you heard it here first). Anyhow, it was decent listening to Tristan's Friday Interview, at least he sounds like a proper football bloke. After Tuesday's performance our dynamic duo's period of tenure is perilous to say the least, but hopefully supporters won't get on their backs, cause they don't deserve it (unlike the Dealer) A win versus the Dags is a big ask but not impossible.

There was talk a couple of years back that EFL2 +16 NL teams would amalgamated to make 2 divisions EFL2 north and south should this happen then the remaining teams in the NL would likely be semi pro and not full time so things maybe different in 3 years time.

After Tuesday I would not give us a hope in hell of beating Daggers tomorrow but maybe it's our turn to get some much needed luck so let's do it ,let's beat them and beat them well.COYMFS!!!

We cannot go into battle without believing we can win.

We cannot go into battle without believing we can win. I went into Tuesday with hope we may actually win & then our players decided to put on one of the worst performances I've seen in a long time. That was against a team struggling like us...tomorrow we play a team who are a lot better. Hopefully I'm proved wrong, but if by some miracle we shithouse a draw I will be shocked.

Most of our defeats haven't been anything to do with needing luck, more like needing miracles.

I refuse to believe we will finish the season with just one home win.
Statistically, we will win other home games. It's just a matter of which ones.

We can win at home if the players believe they can win. It's in their heads because as our away form shows, we have the quality.

Do what’s our sports psycho doing then ? Clearly he’s a waste of money if the problem is in the players heads. We could swop him for a decent striker.

I remember talk about this when Harry came, but I've heard nothing since he went. Did he (she?) go with Harry, or was it some sort of thing we bought in, but we no longer do - or perhaps we never actually had one? If we do have one, then they are pretty crap.
