Let’s take that superb support and noise and takeover the ground at H & W next Saturday. Looking forward to it, let’s turn it into our own special atmosphere there. ⚽️ 💛🖤

Should you be lingering in Havant after the match, remember the M20 closes at 8pm that night (if I've read the signs correctly), and Heathfield High Street (the alternative route for some) is closed all month.

Good point HS ! I THINK though this is a night time closure between junctions 9 and 11, if I remember correctly ? (So between Ashford and Lympne)

Every Saturday we follow We stand and we sing We’ve got the best support in Non League We’re the famous county town Though times they have been hard We’ve followed near and far You will always hear us roaring, from the stands of Gallagherrrr

Anyone know where this came from?

Cheers, Porky. That small 'c', by the way, entirely alters the meaning of your last sentence!

[ Hope this doesn't offend our more catholic supporters ] Cheers, Porky. That small 'c', by the way, entirely alters the meaning of your last sentence! The nuances that surround 'Auld Firm' rivalries are beyond this board, but it is amusing that we are celebrating the outcome of the Battle of the Boyne on the Banks of the Medway....

I am sure they would accept being offended rather than being burnt as we used to do to them.

The nuances that surround 'Auld Firm' rivalries are beyond this board, but it is amusing that we are celebrating the outcome of the Battle of the Boyne on the Banks of the Medway.... I was thinking more of 'Catholic' and 'catholic'. The first is usually taken to mean the Roman Catholic Church (as opposed, for instance, to the Anglican Catholic Church), but the latter means simply "including a wide variety of things; all-embracing - diverse, wide, broad-based, eclectic, etc". For example, my tastes are catholic - but certainly not Catholic! So, quite literally, it would actually be quite hard to offend 'catholic' supporters!

So, quite literally, it would actually be quite hard to offend 'catholic' supporters! I would think an afternoon spent with some of the Genco's finest might upset people who were both a C or a c .
