Cove win first leg 4 - 0 , surely they are bound for Ladbrokes League 2 ! Cove win 2nd leg 3-0 to win 7-0 on agg. Therefore Cove become the 2nd Aberdeen club in the Scottish league and the only English team in Scotland will be locking horns with my Scottish club Dalbeattie Star in the Lowlands league. Reading the clubs website it would seem they will not be returning SFL any time soon. So sad!

Indeed it is sad, but the SFL needs an input of new blood, and you can't deny ambitious forward looking clubs like Cove the chance to progress. If the Play Off final was a boxing match you'd have stopped it early and Berwick would have ' thrown in the towel ' such was the apparent difference in quality.

10 games into the season and Fort William are not bottom 🥳🥳🥳🥳🥳😁 In fairness sword, Lossiemouth ( who have replaced them at the bottom ) have been c88p for a few years now. I'm surprised that Strathspey have secured 3 wins and are almost mid table . Fair play to them !

Fort William for the first time this season have claimed their rightful place at the bottom of the Highland league and long may it continue. I'm sure you follow this anyway sword, but on Twitter ( twitter.com/ScottishHFL ) you can get game highlights / goals from all of the Highland League fixtures. Look at the beauty surrounding some of the grounds ! If you listen hard, sometimes you can pick up some raw Scottish ' industrial language ' from the benches / crowd as well !

A win for Fort William and an away win to boot. It was a turrific performance to beat Turiff 2-1 and close the gap to 5 pts with 7 games in hand. Poor old Lossiemouth are now bottom having played 7 games more. My Dalbeattie Star boys got hammered 4-0 at home to the leaders Kelty.
