Didn't mean this to sound so final. There are some fine people out there supporting other teams, Phil @ Ebbsfleet, Jerry Dohlen @ Cray, the entire population of the Wirral Peninsular, but also so many who you dread fetching up anywhere near to. Eh? West Kirby perhaps, but have you been to Rock Ferry?

Supporting your club because it's your club and watching football because you enjoy it are two different things. Hopefully they overlap, but when they don't, you still support your club. If you don't, because you're not enjoying the football, then you are just someone who likes football, not a supporter.

We were in the Kent League for 5 years. Were there no changes at all? No, by the time we got to 2004/5 I had certainly done all of the available grounds and no new teams appeared in that year.

So that really means they got paid on time late again then.

Did the Ebbsfleet players get paid on time? Yes. Does any body truly care whether G&N's players got paid on time other than the players themselves I know I don't.

No, by the time we got to 2004/5 I had certainly done all of the available grounds and no new teams appeared in that year. I was referring to more than just year but subsequent research showed me that only three teams changed in our entire time in there so I get your point a bit more now. I must have enjoyed the frequent trips to various cabbage patches so much I didn't pay much attention the repetition.

Those days were still interesting, most of the opposition fielded a past or future Maidstone player to assess. Remember Pedro Knight who was both?

Remember Pedro Knight who was both? Who can forget Pedro, such hype, such disappointment …… Interestingly, after playing for us from August to November 2002 he kept reappearing against us ( for Slade Green, Thamesmead & Waltham Forest ) ….

Shows what a crowd puller Pedro was I think each of these clubs saw there home attendances soar up to 40 when he was there

Further thoughts lead me to believe that all 3 clubs are now defunct, would I be right in saying This?

Further thoughts lead me to believe that all 3 clubs are now defunct, would I be right in saying This? That's a good ( and rather sad ) point. Don't think we can blame Pedro for that though !
