Always in favour of signing players with weird hair.
Basically, anything that helps supporters of a certain age identify players has got to be a plus...

In a league full of carthorses and donkeys, he's a thorougbred racehorse.

I,m guessing reading between the lines in his article we will have to wait until his agent has explored all avenues before he commits to Maidstone for next season.

I read it much the same way - I'd like to stay if nothing better comes along, but my agent is trying to place me with a bigger club, and you know how it is... I wouldn't hold out much hope of hanging on to him - unless O&T have developed much deeper pockets than previous seasons. And if he does stay, it will only be with an eye to making a move in January. Nothing wrong with that, of course, having Pigs for just five months probably kept us up. But we need to be ready for his probable departure, so that it doesn't cause the problems that losing Pigott did.

Who knows - I didn't personally think we'd hang on to Loza or Twumasi far into their second seasons, but either they chose to stay or the offers never came & they'd had more opportunities to showcase themselves so maybe we'll be 'lucky'. I doubt though that it's about the depths of O&T's pockets, probably more about personal ambition - realistically we are not yet ready to convince players that staying with us is the best path to playing in the EFL.

Also noticed he didn't see the 90 minutes out. Coker has talent but is that enough ? He needs to perform well and score goals on a regular basis if Harry is going to be tempted.

Players develop at different rates, and adaptation to senior football can be a shock when natural talent has probably been enough at under 23 level. HW obviously knows this, and will be monitoring Coker's progress. He has the potential to be another Turgott or be even better. Lets hope he makes the transition.

Also seen that DSY has gone out on loan from Dartford to Kingstonian. Maybe making the transition to his natural level.

Unless a player genuinely needs sone match time he can't get at home, loans tend to be a good indication that the manager thinks the player isn't good enough. But I think Harry is different - with players like Coker and Jam, I'm sure he's monitoring their progress and will bring them back if he thinks they are good enough and the time is right.
Certain other players, though, aren't coming back...

Certain other players, though, aren't coming back... Also, from the other KM article about Harry, the budget is being balanced. One in, one out. A chance for fringe players to improve and come back when other transfer deals are done.

Never say never. Like others I feel that both Jam and Andre have the talent and flair. But is that enough ? Suspect that it probably won't be which is a shame, cause both of the players are good to watch. Seems that Harry is likely to put graft, organisation, commitment and fighting spirit before the 'beautiful game' is allowed to flourish. Not saying he's wrong though, ultimately it's results that matter.

I always found Coker a bit lightweight for this League. A few fancy touches then he’d just get bundled off the ball if he hadn’t delivered it. If I’m perfectly honest I thought Turgott was a bit similar but he has totally upped his game and proved me wrong!!
