Is anyone going to this game. I can't I'm working. Are we going to have a really small away crowd? Could it be sub-100?
I predict 95 hardy souls will make this fixture

Won’t be going, I’m trying out the JDL and DaveU experience.

I do however accept - before someone points it out - that technically, as an individual, I can't be a crowd.

What's the minimum figure that constitutes a crowd? (I accept it isn't 1!)

All depends if you're at Old Trafford or the Gallagher compared with Boreham Wood or Met Police.
One for JDL to check - our capacity as a percentage of the Maidstone population is greater than the other MUFC and Manchester's pop.

What's the minimum figure that constitutes a crowd? (I accept it isn't 1!) Didn't Mrs Thatcher make it law that any congregation greater than six was a crowd, and could then be lawfully beaten up by the police even if they were demonstrating peacefully?

What's the minimum figure that constitutes a crowd? (I accept it isn't 1!) Isn't it three? Dictionary definition: "a large number of people gathered together in a disorganized or unruly way."
Don't think that checking the definition of "large number" will help here. Personally think "large number" would have to be at least two digits but a debate on the actual number could be even more pointless than most of my posts.
Edit So, if you believe dictionaries and don't think they are the result of grammar deviants, like jdl does, then daveu's response, based on the oft quoted two's company, three's a crowd saying - a reference I confess to completely missing initially - unfortunately has to be relegated to the status equivalent to an old wives' tale. (I'm scared to post this edit now as I might be exposing myself to ridicule from, amongst other people, the apostrophe police.)

So, if you're organised or ruly, you're not a crowd?? I think your fear of the apostrophe police is well founded - I suspect jakeyboi is an undercover agent.

No, that was a law made back in the 1800s, six or greater meeting in a public place could constitute a riot. "Haebeus Corpus" springs to mind but no idea why?!

Back OT - according to this week's KM, Jay is taking the team up the day before, with training at Reading en-route.
He said that their tiredness in the last game's second half was related to the five hour journey up.
A special arrangement because it's the Trophy, or a general trend for all long-distance games?

Your second sentence highlights why your first sentence of sarcasm is entirely misplaced.
