As expected, more detail. The new President of the Club is local entrepreneur Gregory Duvieuxbourg. He's not exactly being transparent about how the Club is being financed ('I have my networks....'), but it is clear that a complete Club is being created. We assume that the Mairies' oversight will prevent financial recklessness.GD is quite open about regarding what he is doing as an investment, freely admitting that he has had nothing to do with football in Calais, before now.As a Director, no bad thing - but if he had no interest as a supporter of CRUFC, then...However, to his eternal credit, he sees how disasterous the running of CRUFC was - ''There must be a club worthy of the name for this city of 80,000 inhabitants but we wanted to create the structure before promising mountains and wonders. If it takes ten years to get something, it will take ten years. The goal is to turn the page and move forward''. How refreshing. We hope he means what he says, and is in it for the long haul...
