Agree at this juncture probably the only course of action. However had the "ultras" hard core or whatever they call them selves been dealt with in the past it wouldn't have come to this hahaha senna you really are a boring fart, nothing wrong with the youngsters take them out and you'll have no atmosphere Interesting that I mention ultras / hard core and you instantly jump up and state youngsters, i neither expressed or implied youngsters. That to me suggests you have something to feel guilty about. I have no problem with atmosphere, have moaned on here before time and again about the stadium being like a morgue at times. What I have an issue with, whether old young or middle age, is people that swear and seem to want to offer the other fans out for a fight, and probably don't actually watch much of the game at all.

I have talked about the behaviour that leads up to such incidents, I think I may have used the word incitement. And to that end, MUFC fans continued to goad, or invite, the Woking fans "out" once the ejections had begun. So, in the instance of the Woking game you are wrong to say they are the only ones In the o wrong, unless of course you believe such behaviour is correct? To help you with coming to an answer, let me tell you it isn't and it is also a breach of ground regulations. The other part of the conversation you may not have twigged is, the fact that a certain section of fans which I classified as ultras, have been allowed to have slack for too long by stewards in terms of language in particular abusive language. So if you think such behaviour by our fans is correct, or are one of them, I suggest you stay away from the games, otherwise come and cheer, support correctly

I didn't read Sienna's post as a pop at the youngsters, anyone that heard my end of season presentation to Stuart Lewis would know that you and your mates are much criticised without cause and create the atmosphere that we need! Lets not forget us oldies used to be you, but now don't have the energy to jump for 90 mins, you will have to pass that baton on at some stage I've had the pleasure of several of the young lads on coaches, no problems, respectful nice lads! I wasn't at the game, I'd be surprised if any of our younger lads were involved apart from high spirits, the problem is some of our more 'mature' idiots! I'd prefer non-league to be more 'non-league' however that would mean employing stewards that could spot trouble before it started but that would be expensive so I understand the decisions that have been made! It doesn't stop me being disappointed that we've reached this stage I'm happy with the level we're now at, but sometimes I think back to the days when there were 300 of us and I knew 250 by name and we policed ourselves! Oh well onwards and upwards!

If we want to get to the football league we need to run the club a bit more professionally and this along with going full time etc is the best way. Some of our fans especially on here have got their head in the sand thinking all away supporters are friendly and that they should be given preferential treatment. Yes 99% can be fine but there's always the risk of the 1% who ruin it. But that's how it is. We aren't playing in the ryman and kent league anymore. This league and the ones above contain real football clubs and fans. No matter if they are Guiseley or whatever it takes one idiot to ruin it. We still have decent space when the game is segregated anyway. All games are segregated in this league basically so whats the problem? I'm glad you associate Ryman and County League days supporters with not being idiots.

Oh well onwards and upwards! JDL will be leaping about for that sort of comment. He doesn't like it when I say it. The 'policing' issue I remember best was the end of the first half at Halesowen when the young'uns on their side were getting excitable and it wasn't helped when Shaky ran into their crowd to celebrate our second goal. We had one guy of about 950 years of age (I was told he knew JDL) standing between the two sets of fans. I remember standing with Big Chris and asking their young'uns to calm down a little. Apart from that I do remember getting involved in a lot of problems at Tonbridge when one of our more experienced crew defied the stewards and caused a massive argument about which toilet to use.

Inevitable, I suppose, but very, very sad. The end of the non-league era. I'd like to have seen more effort and imagination put into finding ways of continuing non-segregation instead, rather than just taking the 'easy' way out. Most visiting supporters don't give us any trouble, and of those few clubs who do, the trouble makers are a tiny minority, who could easily be dealt with. Instead of showing the rest of football how it could be done, how it can be different, we've just given in and accepted that visiting fans are trouble. We are now 'them and us' - that is not football supporting as we have always known it. On a more practical note - now that this has happened and games will be forever segregated, the club needs to give serious thought to how this is to be managed. The current arrangements were a stop-gap and not at all satisfactory. Our biggest asset, the Elvis End stand, will now always be unavailable to us in full, the away supporters who can't fit in their EE allocation will continue to get a crap experience, stuck in that corner, and the main standers will continue to be cut off from their nearest exits and half-time food and drink. If you were planning the stadium from the start with segregation in mind, this is not how you would do it. Until such time as the TE is replaced by a new stand, it should clearly be the away end - a much better experience for the away support, more safely and easily segregated (with no loss of terrace/seats,)the full EE available for the Ultra Bouncers, and a much better arrangement/experience for the main standers. Said by whom doesn't attend many games. Be fair, Sennockian. He just wants to be me

You are quick to pick out the noisy section of fans for what you deem poor behaviour but there are numerous groups all around the ground that hurl foul language at players/fans etc, many of which can be classed as inciting. If you want the noisy section to be targeted for behavioural changes then you'd need to do it everywhere in the ground as well as the issues you raise happen all around the ground. Look at the first half v Woking, two of our fans were ejected in the town end, these weren't part of your ultras but they still displayed poor behaviour you've not done anything to condone their behaviour or is this because it doesn't coincide with your agenda against the group of fans who you have designated as ultras??

Oh well onwards and upwards! Tim is absolutely spot on here. It baffles me how the young lads who do most of the singing (and all of the bouncing!) ever got confused with the hooligans to start with. All the trouble I've seen over the last two seasons has been older men, mostly not near the 'bouncing section' and usually (at least in appearance) pretty much the worse for wear. The youngsters who sing and bounce in the EE stand (and the drummer) have added so much to the match-day atmosphere that I wouldn't want anything to be done or said that would discourage them from coming to games. Since the new stand was opened, the atmosphere at games has been so different, so up-beat, that it's a pleasure to come to games, almost irrespective of what goes on on the pitch! I'd even go as far as to say that, despite all Jay's hard work and the exciting new players he has signed, the biggest difference to watching the Stones has been the opening of the EE stand and the fantastic atmosphere we now get. It's wonderful to sit in the Old Gits' Stand and see the lads bouncing up and down and singing 'bouncy bouncy', and the drummer-led 'aaaaaahhh, you're shit!" chant when goalies take a kick puts the whatsits up them! If we need segregation to ensure that that continues, then so be it.

Believe it or not I have been criticised myself for it, as being away from the main nucleous of noise the stewards seem to take offence to it. Also, I have not defined those at fault for abusive behaviour as of any particular age sex colour creed. I don't care who you are, cheer your team; let the opposition players know about it when they cheat and fein injury, let the officials know about it when they are having a mare of a game. But do it in accordance with the ground rules and that my friend particularly at home with our numbers creates an atmosphere to bout the team on. Anyone who slates their own players should be hung drawn and quartered on week street in. My opinion. Any those that don't like atmosphere, noise, either put ear plugs in or wait for the high lights

To be honest it can be a bit cringe worthy at times, clapping along to the chants like a bunch of old men at a brass band concert. Why not actually join in with the singing as well and get that atmosphere going around the whole ground.
