Reading between the lines, you don't know what you meant either.

Reading between the lines, you don't know what you meant either. As my last three posts have each consisted of just one line, that would be rather difficult...

If memory serves me right, Thamesmead are being forced out of Bayliss Avenue because the owners won't grant them a long enough lease to satisfy the FA rules on security of tenure. I believe one of the board members of the current owners is also involved with Sporting Club Thamesmead who will be taking over the stadium next season. The whole thing is decidedly dodgy and in fairness to PBB I think the current situation pre-dates his arrival at Thamesmead.

Reading between the lines, you don't know what you meant either. Maybe he meant that a man who was quoted in the press as saying "the finance to build the stadium has been in place for six months" upon securing the lease at JWW years before anything was built (and then by other people), might not have a great track record of finishing the job.

kentishfootball.co.uk/news/thamnorw240117 So Thamesmead Town are moving out of Bayliss Avenue at the end of the season. I'm tempted to say something about their chairman's record in building new grounds but it would be like shooting fish in a barrel... Nice to see that TTFC have, as well as Joe Vines, Ellis Green and Ellis Brown playing for them. I thought you meant Thamesmead as a whole for a brief moment. Yikes!

Sporting club Thamesmead is a completely different club to Thamesmead town fc and were in existence long before TT went tits up. I dont know the politics behind them moving into Bayliss Avenue and TT moving out but PBB was involved so it was probably dodgy.

My understanding was that the owner of SC Thamesmead was also associated with the owners of the ground and basically engineered the departure of Thamesmead Town so that SC Thamesmead could take over the ground.
