Grant Basey, nephew of 70’s Stones goal scoring ace Phil, now in goal at South Park, according to todays NLP - Tarpey put a couple past him yesterday.
- I spoke briefly with Grant when he came to the Gallagher with VCD back in 2014, he told me then that he’d seen his uncle that same day

Dave Tarpey getting up in years. Wonder if he'll fancy the step up in divisions? |

Ian Dracott scored the first as Folkestone beat a strong Ebbsfleet side 3-1 in the Kent Senior Cup last night. Amongst several others, I pretty much always look at Folkestone’s results, and each time I’m looking to see if ‘Drayks’ scored. He doesn’t start every game these days but more often than not, comes on from the bench. I’d imagine he’s fairly high on the list of their all time top scorers. |

Shamir Mullings has finally found his level. Playing in the U.S. for Lansdowne Yonkers FC. In the the loosely formed "pyramid" that is the football structure here, Lansdowne are 5th division. Unknown to me, he came to town to play against Jamie Vardy's Rochester NY FC in a U.S. Open Cup match. Found the match on ESPN+. I believe he got 2 touches in the first half. Some things never change apparently.
