Fifteen clubs in 5 years with an average of 5 goals a season as a striker. The most impressive thing about Joe Quigley is his agent. That's insane - 15 clubs?? How's that even possible?? Genuinely interesting to see where he goes from there because it won't work out, let's not lie. Of the current crop, he's played for 7(!!!) of the current National League sides (31% of the clubs) and 4 in the league below. Surely, at best, he's good enough for our level and even then I wouldn't want him, Scott Rendell looks a much better all round player for what it's worth.

Still reading my old 2004-08 fanzines - I know what happened to Chris Smalling, but what about other promising youngsters from that period like Sam Morrison, Ashley Ulph, Charlie Robertson? Other fleeting names from that era: Googled Lee Sperring and he'll sell you a hot tub nowadays. Conor Hagan went back to N Ireland and played for a string of clubs over there. Luis Cumbers hard to trace - was at Margate in 2017 then just disappeared.

Blair Turgott continues to find the net for Ostersunds alas they are beaten 3-1 by Hammarby I think he's getting much more game time this season which is great to see. He's on 6 goals in 11 games. Joined by another ex-National League player in Alex Purver, who was on Guisleys books most recently. Do we know of any other ex-Stones who are currently playing abroad other than Turgott and, of course, Chris Smalling?

If I was a bit younger I'd go off and find a "hitting nail on head" meme / gif thing.
