Just had a look at the NS table to see how Maidenhead are getting on. They are second - on the same points as Gravesend. But they are also on the same GD, the same goals scored, the same goals conceded, the same games won and the same number of draws. The only things that aren't exactly the same are games played and games lost - Maidenhead have played, and lost, one less game. So why are they second? Surely it's not done on alphabetical order? That's exactly how it's done during the season (teams starting with A are always top at the start of the season), but at if they have identical records at the end of the season their head to head records come into play. Not sure what happens if they are still identical.

I see Ben Swift started today for Margate, appears he's now left Villa. He's been out for a while injured this year, so interesting to see how he gets on down there. Clean sheet in his first game was a good start.

Looks like we'll be playing them next season - possibly Dartford as well. Much as I like derbies, I'd still much rather have both of them at least a league/division below us...

Maidenhead still have a game in hand and they still have to play each other at Maidenhead. Potential title decider, that one.

Assuming both Stones and Bromley stay up as well as Gravesend and Dartford being promoted then that is a potential 5 Kent teams in the NL next year - almost the new Kent Premier league. Plenty of local derbys and with Orient down as well easier on the travel budget!
