I always thought a MuMu was slang for a lady's ahem......
But looking it up on the urban dictionary they have it as "Nigerian slang for someone who acts daft" - nuf said.

Last time I went there it was called Badgers...
Any other names?!
Never drank in there, but did go to see a mate's band play there once. It had a decent sized room for gigs, with a proper stage.
Just before Covid (BC?), the owner was promoting plans for turning his pub into a hotel and revitalising that end of Week St (which badly needs it).

Worth a read - a refreshingly solid piece of reporting. Good to see KM can still do this. Even includes a video taken from Brenchley House. One thing that struck me though, is that, with all the 21st century technology (thermal imaging cameras, drones, etc) the main way of dealing with a fire still seems to be by pumping as much water as possible on it! This also made me realise just how rare fires are these days. When I was a kid (50s/60s) there were fires all the time, but this is only the third or fourth fire I can think of in the town centre in 40 years, and one of them was arson.

Actually sounds quite a positive addition to The Town. The guy clearly has a thing against Fosters ! Wait and see I guess .....

Nick Hanlon knows the pub trade inside and out.He knows his beer and does drink mass produced lagers though not Fosters. The only problems with Nick is that he has a mouth that wont shut up and he can at times be a prized pratt. He is also very narcissistic. The problem with craft ale joints is the ridiculous prices they charged. The 4 degrees failed because of its location but the prices of the beer were so outrageous only a small percentage of people could afford them.

Headcorn has a new craft ale bar, but £5 a pint is a little steep (isn't it?). They also don't serve Diet Coke for the driver or soda water for Mrs Headstone's spritzers, which must restrict the clientele. But the Kent Brewery KGB was tasty.

Very familiar name, but couldn't place it - then I realised this is the pub I walk past on the way to the Flower Pot! It looks so 'unloved' from the outside that I'd always assumed it was closed. But I'm afraid 'Masterbrew and lager' doesn't exactly make me want to try it...

What's wrong with Masterbrew? Tasty, only 3.8% (so you can have two pints - with a meal - and still drive), and it does wonders for the digestive tract!

Hope there's no coppers reading this cos 2 pints will get you disqualified matey,if caught that is.As for masterbrew it's awful like most Shep beers.
