Whoever made the Ebbsfleet decision based on safety grounds was totally wrong. There is a big green field in front of the terrace which people would have run on to in case of any emergency. You'd have to be a total idiot to look at that away end and all the space and think that was anything else but an underused terrace. It was, as I said, an utter disgrace whether you blame Ebbsfleet, the police or health and safety pen pushers.

Why are we still bleating on about Ebbsfleets ticket allocation, there is never going to be an end to this argument, and all it does is riles the drama queen and her merry men, we have moved onwards and upwards, so lets start the season as positive as we can be, yes tickets will be reduced as and when the developments start but hey ho that is progress for you, the end result will be worth the aggrovation that we will endure. So let,s stop moaning and start cheering, there,s a good bunch.

It's all mind games by those so called big clubs in our league, if they are so big ... Why are they playing in non league football now ?. So what they have bigger stadium than us , maybe a few more supporters , but where are the rest of the thousands who once went to watch them ?. We are doing what we are told to do and that is to bring the capacity of the numbers required by the league ; and in the meantime these clubs will have to be satisfied with the allocation that they are given. It will be exciting times to see the Gallagher at full capacity and I hope that we we all see some memorable matches , we've got promoted on merit and deserve to be there , let's show our support even more now , even if we don't always get the results that we would want. Never mind how many away fans want to come , let it be the home fans that stick by this team !. C'MON YOU STONES !!

Having lived in York for a brief period I know that you can get from York station to Maidstone Barracks in around 3 hours. So kick off time not an issue. Also my Yorkie friend tells me that whereas they would originally have easily sold the full 450 allocation now it is to be televised there may only be a take up of 300+.

Having never traveled to York, but now being the proud owner of a keyboard and mouse, I can quite quickly identify that trips of around 3 hours are unlikely! The fastest journey that morning is the 08:20 from York arriving at Maidstone Barracks at 11:55 (3 hours 35 minutes) - assuming they don't want to leave it that tight, there is nothing less than 3 hours 50 minutes. Still perfectly do-able, but a little longer than you suggested.

Having a moan on the conference forum because apparently we've only allocated them 450 tickets for the opening game. Six years on and their allocation has risen by 50. Not too much moaning, just a little anxiety.
