What's happened to Woking? Not paid much attention to the NL of late, but I'm sure they were doing very well a month or two back. Now I check and find them at 10th! And, while I'm at it - what's going on at Barrow? Didn't they nearly go bust a season or two ago? Have they found a money man, or just a decent manager? Woking like Torquay came up this year and started the season with a bang, riding the promotional Crest of the wave you might say. The pressures of competing in the national league though are beginning to tell as Torquay are in freefall and Woking as you rightly pointed out are slip sliding away. I also remember something about ground improvements that the council refused permission for and the club owners said it could be the death knell for the club but I might have dreamt that bit.

Bad day for Fleet at Barrow, down to ten after 24 mins and smacked for seven. Meanwhile, Kings Lynn are top of NLN. Was that on anyone's radar?

NLS could well have Folkestone and Ebbsfleet in it next season, and Oxford City again which always suits me. Two more chances to win a Kent Derby (assuming we stay put).

Possibly D&R or Maidenhead as well. If three northern sides go down, do we get Gloucester back? Wouldn't want Brackley - they seem too determined to go up!

The story that keeps on giving!
"When I found out, Michael had only been on the bus for 10 minutes. I said if he wanted to get off at the next stop and spend the weekend with his family, he could, but the professional he is, he wanted to stay with us and be with the lads."
What a load of bollocks - what chance was there of him getting off "at the next stop"?? And what sort of bus was it anyway - how many stops were there?!

Reads like he wanted/needed to go?
Unless they've done a Maidstone...

Lost the dressing room. They got hammered 6-2 by Tamworth last week, rumour has it he walked out at half time.

Woking like Torquay came up this year and started the season with a bang, Just declared ( thanks to Mr Ash for retweeting it ! ), in the promotion season ( year to 30 June 2019 ), Torquay lost £ 943,000. The price of promotion ? / How is that sustainable ?

They'll pay the price. Just like Chesterfield's - their huge debt is working wonders for them...
You can either play your way to success or pay your way. The latter works fine, but, as so many have discovered the hard way, it only works until the money runs out.
