OK Gate is a crap club and in one sense deserves what's coming But still a few die hard supporters who deserve better Another decent fixture we may not see again I will not miss trips to Hartsdown. We never win there. Errr, Luis cumbers ?

So Whitehawk, Gosport and Margate have got next season's relegation places sewn up already then.

Another decent fixture we may not see again Hyperbole much? They'll cut cloth accordingly. short term it'll be hideous for the support but they'll find their level in the ryman/1, i doubt with their facilities they'd fall as far as kent league. the fixture would still exist when our academy and reserves play them in some tinpot county cup. Are their facilities up to Kent League standard. I doubt it..

Such a shame Margate did not follow our lead and build a nice stadium before giving all the money to the players. As Terry always says, you need a legacy. Also I think more fans would watch Margate if the facilities were better. It is, let's face it, a miserable place to watch football these days.

Rivalries aside, it would be horrible to see them go under or hit real bother financially. Football is football, and for any town to lose their team or spend time in the mire is a nightmare; Maidstone know that better than most.

How long before it sinks in to the collective conscience of the non-league community that getting a sugar daddy and spunking millions on players just to get promoted leads nowhere?

All very well saying build it and they will come. if they aint got planning permission they can't build squat. anyway this is from the km. it'll probably turnout to be clickbait. Well maybe some of the money should have gone in brown envelopes to some of the councillors!! Ha

Didn't someone, on another thread, some time when, mention that Hartsdown Road was owned by Thanet Council?
