I think he is a busted flush as a player now. Way too many injuries. Way too many beers as well.

Can’t we get Flish back as long throw coach? We need one! How many goals did we ever actually score from all those long throw ins? don’t know off the top of my head as I wasn’t keeping count but they were always a threat and expectation was high when Flish had a throw in. Also several NL sides this year seemed to have had a Flish throw in expert so if he’s had it as a player now bless him can we get him to train us in throw ins? We need every threat in goal we can muster!

I always preferred Lacy's throws which were low and fast - Flish's went high in the air and took long enough to arrive for defences to deal with, on the whole.

Yes but 99% of the time the ball just went straight to the keeper or one of their defenders. So our long throw tactic was pretty much pointless.

Just like a corner, and we know how good we are at those........ at both ends

I'm pretty sure if I had hundreds of spare hours to watch loads of old footage we would see a goal or three from long throws by Flish, as I am sure we could from Lacy throw ins too. Also, other NL teams this year have long throwers which send our defence into a tailspin and I am sure we have conceded after such throws. I guess I am just looking for any new weapon I can think of us for us to deploy in the hope of us putting the round thing in the rectangular thing at the other end of the picth from our keeper with a funny netting all over it. No Elliot, I don't mean the side netting, you don't get a goal for that, so stop keep trying, please!

Is that when we are relegated, or they are promoted?

Good old football - never changes. Yet another 'hotel+ground' chimera. How long have clubs been clinging to this particular last hope? It must be at least 40 years by now. Didn't Bates start it all at Chelski? And that worked well - up to their eyeballs in shite until the Russian Mafia stepped in with their money-laundering scheme.
Of course, this one might be different, it might work - after all people are desperate for hotel accomodation in Britain's top seaside resort...

Imagine if Bob, or whatever his name was, had spent his money on infrastructure, instead of wages to bog standard non league footballers.

They were in bigger shite before Bates took over and steadied the ship. Oh and Chelski is hilarious

I was under the impression that they already had permission to build it last year but then the man with the money came to his senses and pulled out.
