How embarrassing for their families Being serious for a moment ( although I don't know why as no other ****** seems to be on here ) it is interesting to see how aged rockers decide to conduct themselves - if physically able do they just go on and on and on ? There must come a time when crowds dwindle to such a degree that the hard graft of touring just isn't worth it - even if the performers are still up for it. The 'oldest' ( looking ) rockers I've seen recently ? - probably Focus, Dutch progressive rock from the early 1970's, who put on a brilliant show in front of a very small number of people in Sevenoaks. Still fronted by Thijs Van Leer, who looked a cross between a Guru, Yoda from Star Wars and a learned professor still dispensing wisdom from the keyboard. Happy Days.  |

Was gonna do both but that starts to add up to significant dosh for me and the wife, so decided to stick with the Saturday. Better rock stage on Saturday, better prog stage on Sunday, so it was the rock stage that swung it for me. Dave, I can't understand how Gregg Allman can be the main act on the Main Stage on Sunday ? Sure the Allman Brothers contribute the name of the festival, but can he still front the conclusion of the event ? |

Clearly there will be nothing better than The Scorpions there so Sunday isn't worth it. I quite like the look of Pendragon on the Saturday too. I cannot wait to see my favourite band in my home town.
