Oh dear. Firstly it's about lifestyle, IS, not how caught up in the rat race of who earns more than who and who has more televisions etc etc ad nauseum. Secondly people like Joey Essex, Frank Bruno etc etc ad nauseum earn more money than me. I still would not desire to be them though. Here endeth the end of year life lesson. Now go into the New Year with a changed outlook and remember...if it is not very interesting you are bored WITH it not bored OF it. Knew you'd chip in. Point being ...oh I can't be arsed, I'm bored with you lot correcting every minor blip. Some things can't be allowed to persist. I"m not a language fanatic, and I'm not that bothered about the so called grocers' apostrophe. I'm not even averse to the use of "text speak" where appropriate, but "bored of" is a horrible mistreatment of the English language and should be stamped out whenever it occurs. |
