Wrexham not exactly setting the world alight recently and of course a level below Stevenage...
I don't really get spread betting but would be surpised if we did worse than a 2-goal defeat or better than a 1-goal win.
Gut feeling from our historic knack of failing to draw decent clubs in R3:
1-1 on Saturday
Drawn away to Gateshead in R3
Lose replay 1-0

Such a cheery soul, Huw.
Due to a dream I had years ago. Win on Saturday and go to SPurs and win in the third round 1-0 (although the only problem is that in my dream Smoky Gall got the winner)

Except for getting the draw on Saturday. So we won't be in the draw for the 3rd Round. Hmm, it must be last night's curry I'm feeling in my gut, after all.

I honestly think it could go either way. I'm not expecting either team to batter the other though. I'm just going to enjoy the day.

I'm sure the Stones will give it there all. I think it's win win. If we go out we can concentrate on smashing the league to pieces. If we go through, round 3. Who knows? I reckon we got a one in four chance of a glamor tie. Evens chance of a home game. Win. Win.

What ever we did against Stevenage is irreverent .
I think Wrexham will win, home advantage on a very long unfamiliar journey for us ,will be heavily in Wrexham's favour, the manager has watched us and had us watched a couple of times, they are non league now and we wont be feared as such a banana skin.
Id imagine if its still 0-0 and nearing full time they will be very nervy as they wont fancy a replay, best chance for us to win will be a single goal at the end.
V Stevenage i predicted a draw and a TV replay, which was the best possible result all round after being drawn away.
Yes its WIN WIN for us ,if we lose it really is time to concentrate on winning the league and banking well over 200k from the run.
If we win it rolls on till the first week in Jan and maybe a chance to bank 200k from a single match.
Cant wait u.t.s.

Well as long as your optimistic. My question is, why can't we do them? We have a strong side, fa cup means that form is really nothing. I'd take a 0-0 draw right now... It'd save me a long coach journey. The magic of the fa cup still exists, we have nothing to lose and I think we'll take it just as we took Stevenage away. All the lads will be up for it.
And dear Frannie, if you get a one on one chance to win the game, please do take it this time. It'll make the journey home much better.

Hi all,
We haven't been doing as well as we were expected to have done this season, however I think you will be surprised at how good we are for our level and I hope you think that we are a side that deserve to be further up the table after you see us on Saturday.
We are 5 points off the play-offs. We dropped 3 points 2 weeks ago at home to Altrincham - in this game we were winning 2-0 and then we had 2 players sent off (1 of them later got rescinded as the referee shouldn't of even give them a free kick never mind a red card!) and we ended up losing 3-2 through no fault of our own. Also we drew 0-0 with Bristol on Tuesday who we battered the whole game despite us having 10 men for the whole of the second half as another player for us got wrongly sent off and we are waiting for a judgement to come back to us today from our appeal against that one! If we had rightly had 11 men on the field we would of beaten Bristol at least 2-0, so if the results had gone our way which they should of done not for shit referees we would be sitting in the play-offs now! Disappointing standard of referee in our league to say the least!
See u Sat!

Don't get us started on referee standards, Yalestander, we have more than a few of those issues in the Ryman. We are looking forward to a better class of refs when we climb up the pyramid but hey ho. Suppose if they are any good they would be reffing Premier & Champions League matches. Let's hope the ref in Saturday's game has a good match, and we fans of both teams can concentrate on the wonderful, skilful play of the players without the distraction of a prima donna with a whistle trying to make centre-stage. 56 hours (give or take) and counting. COYS

A lot will depend on how Wrexham cope with Jay May, who bullied Welling into submission and then did the same to Stevenage in the replay. He is so good at holding up clearances that even when we're under pressure, we can clear our lines and switch defence to attack in a way other teams can't. If Wrexham have big defenders who can stop Jay winning the ball, that will be key. Obviously there will be battles all over the pitch, but the other crucial one will be midfield. Rodgers, Bodkin, Flisher and Parkinson's performances will be crucial. We know we have the firepower up front to score goals if we can get our midfield on the ball enough. Can't wait!
