Also, know some of you have voiced frustrations about the adverts on our site. Believe me they annoy me as well.
I questioned our MD about it and have been sent a response, which I am happy to share below. Hopefully in time we will see them disappear, please bear with us.
Our online site is important to us as a service to the community and we are investing heavily in developing the site with enriched content and more sophisticated functionality. Meantime as you will appreciate, advertising is our only source of income against which to justify this investment.
So please bear with us - enjoyment of the site will gradually be enhanced and a better balance created between the advertising positioning and our desire to provide a free service to users.
