Nobody answering the phone at the moment, maybe they are at lunch. Thanks for the tip-off.

Got a ticket!!
Don't call the main switchboard number. Call 01438 218072. The phone will be answered by Lindsay Powell, head of ticketing at Stevenage Borough. She will put you through to her assistant who can take a card payment.
The cost is £12.50, that includes a £2.50 fee for posting the tickets to you by recorded 1st class mail. You buy on the understanding that if the tickets get lost in the post, your money is not recoverable.
They have 49 tickets left, so here's your chance...
Oh, and by the way, it's recorded mail so have them sent to an address where someone can sign for it. You can buy as many as you want until they've all gone but let's not be greedy - there have been a number of 'real' Stones supporters who missed out at the weekend, so be sensible and give them a chance to see this message.

If the game means that much to them, they would do anything to get their hands on a ticket. Nice work! Luckily I already got my golden ticket on Friday On a related note, out of the 330 or so tickets we allocated to Stevenage, how many of those do you think will end up being bought by Maidstone Fans?

Raymondo I don't understand that. I made it clear to them that I was a Maidstone supporter and they still sold me one. I also just spoke to another mate who bought his ticket from Stevenage last week!
Why they would change their policy now is baffling, it's unlikely any more of their supporters are going to buy a ticket at this late stage so why not finish the job selling them to Stones fans? We've only publicised it on this forum, which should mean mainly genuine supporters are going to call.

Well i rung up asked if they had any tickets left, the woman said yes but are you a Stevenage fan.....i said no & she just replied well we cant sell you any tickets Seems weird why she would sell tickets to you but not to me

This is the email I sent them at lunchtime:
[Begins]
Hi,
I understand that you have tickets left over that you are willing to sell to Maidstone supporters for the game on Thursday night. I would certainly like one, can you please call me back on [my phone number], I have my card ready!
I did try to call you but nobody is answering, maybe you are at lunch?
Regards
John Clark
[Ends]
And this was the reply I received:
[Begins]
Dear John I will ask our Club Shop assistant, Bonham to give you a call. We have about 50 tickets remaining. Regards Lindsay Powell Head of Ticketing, Operations & PA to Chairman Tel: 01438 218072 Fax: 01438 488099
[Ends]
Make of that what you will, sorry to anyone who feels they have been misled. I didn't wait for my callback, I rang Lindsay and she put me straight through to her assistant to buy a ticket.

1) say you are a Stevenage fan 2) ask them what they will do with any unsold tickets
