Again, some knob cheese says his joints ache after playing on 3g. I played on it every week and have a proper job, yet still I had no complaint or joint ache or any other complaint. People find fault or excuses when they're crap.

I think the problem here is that everyone who's against it has had negative experiences on artificial surfaces previously (as mentioned with GW at QPR). Even though the days of those surfaces are long gone and your 3G pitch is nowhere near comparable the stigma remains.
A bit of a risky comparison for me to make here but I feel that the whole issue of FL and PL teams removing standing sections in the wake of Hillsborough is the same.
It was a kneejerk reaction to an admittedly tragic and traumatic disaster but as we are now all very well aware of, the disaster was caused by horrifically poor crowd managment by the Police, and the fact it was a standing area had nothing to do with the cause of the disaster. People who are ignorant of football stadiums and how controlled crowds these days are always bring up Hillsborough as an example against standing in stadiums.
Professionals experiences back in the 80s and 90s on the terrible and crippling artificial surfaces have left them scarred and now view all artificial pitches as death trap. This of course, the same as the standing issue, is an outdated and ignorant view.
The only real cure I can see is either artificial pitches rolling out in the lower leagues or younger players who train on 3G speaking up in its defence.

I had a conversation with someone today who claimed the acceptance of 3G would kill football, he was adamant the bounce was "ridiculous" and the game sterile, I don't recall a sterile game or indeed a ridiculous bounce on our pitch but the reality is if you so anti something you will always find a problem. A lot of comments about the pitch at Wembley tonight but because it's grass it will be seen as one of those things, what always forget is that we are not trying to make club turn to 3G but we do think clubs should have the option. Despite us demonstrating on and off the pitch how good a business model it is the huge narrow mindedness in this country remains and as a nation we will continue to slip down the rankings because we crave different results but refuse to make change.

Why do you think Blatter runs rings around the FA? FIFA treat the FA with the contempt they have earned.
