Oh, and what wrong with the Kent Senior Cup? I remember winning that a few times in days gone by!

I'll take one from four, if it's the league or the FA Cup.

Three from five surely, there's still the KSC Yes, but FA Cup isn't really realistic, so 4 including KSC. And one you would sacrifice is?

Trophy and league are the only ones worth bothering with.

Trophy and league are the only ones worth bothering with. Well, agree and disagree, I feel we have a great chance in them all except for the FA cup, which I think we could reach the 3rd round of, but surely we should bother with them all? We do want to win as many trophies as possible don't we? And 3rd round would feel like the final itself too! I feel maybe try out some youngsters in the league cup.

Last year we won the league cup without ever really fielding our best 11 and this year we've got a lot more depth so you'd have to say there's a good chance of picking that up again. League is all important long term, our support is a big part of what makes playing in the Conference in the next few years a real possibility but the longer it takes us to get there the more chance some of that support could fade away.
We could do well in the Trophy depending on who we draw and you'd have to assume we'd field a strong team against anyone from our level or above. FA Cup is obviously not winnable but 3rd Round would be huge and there's always the slim chance that even at that stage you could draw one of the lowest teams left. Kent Cup, well hard to get excited about that one since no one is really trying, as I said though even a line-up with only a few of the usual starting 11 is still quite strong and we could go quite far without trying depending on the draw.

I think the Ryman Cup and KST are important because it gives our reserves, better youth players and fringe first teamers the chance to get a full game so I would like to see us do really well and stay in those comps. There is always a danger that the likes of Akrofi, Brown and Greenhalgh will eventually get fed up and go elsewhere for a regular start if they don't get a few matches and as the season goes on, we'll really need those guys. We have been very lucky with injuries so far this season but that might not last and the last thing we need is the talented fringe players to disappear elsewhere. Until we hopefully reach the Conference and become a professional club, keeping players happy is always going to be a delicate balancing act for Jay Saunders as most are simply able to go elsewhere when they feel like it, at our level.

If I was Browney I think I'd already be fed up, he's good enough to start every game at this level in my opinion.

Jay May is the most under rated player in the side. Yes he lacks pace but his hold up play and teamwork is second to none and I have been extremely impressed with his recent displays. Along with Rogers he was stand out player Wednesday. Yes Ben and Browny are both quality players but I think Jay's selection has been pretty much bang on.
