Now that's it been announced that the FA Cup replay will be shown live on BT Sports, can anyone out there advise how a non-BT-subscriber can record the game without resorting to paying BT's subscription fee?
Is there a streaming site?
Is it possible to download a recording off the BT / Sky box if i get someone with BT Sports to record it for me?
This is one game I'd like to keep for posterity

I believe it can be purchased and viewed online through BT, Perhaps subscribe for one month and then cancel if you want it on the sky plus box mechanism thing.

To view online :- 1 - Go to www.myiplayer.com. Click Union Jack bottom right hand corner then Sports. Amongst other UK sports channels BT will come up. Click BT Sport some annoying adverts will come up that can be closed by clicking X ( sometimes hard to find on advert ) this link works most of the time but you may get buffering. OR. 2 - Try goATD.Net which has all sorts of daily games on it + TV channels. This is probably the most reliable link to games that I have found from an expats view point and works well in the UK too. The times of airing are American ( I think EST ) so allow for the time difference i.e add 4hrs ( or whatever the difference is ) for UK. All games are live. Hope this info is of use to folks.

I've got BT broadband but ordinary terrestrial TV. I've just signed up for BT Sport (via pc or an app) for free. I think if you have Sky then you can get BT Sport on your TV.

I had a quick look at it the other day online and I got the impression that, if you get your phone and broadband from BT, you can register for BT Sports online at no extra cost. I couldn't complete the registration at that point because I didn't have my customer number to hand but I'll be going back to that in the next day or two to finish registering for it.

Likewise if you get your broadband from Plusnet (part of BT) you can sign up for BT sport online

Plusnet and bt broadband customers can get it free online, but if you want it on your tv you have to get the bt box at £5 per month.
