I wonder how the club are going to ensure on Saturday that it is indeed only one ticket per person from the table inside the ground ? Maybe it might be better to sell them at the turnstiles or maybe use your entry token to buy a single ticket. Just curious in knowing whether you and your mrs queued for Stevenage tickets. I'll assume you did.

I wonder how many tickets have been sold for the Stevenage so far I went to the Spitfire at about 5 and I've got ticket 859. I'm not sure if that includes the 330 or so we had to give to Stevenage, even if it does thats still over 500 sold already. Loads will be sold tomorrow at the Sudbury game.

Got mine about 5:40 today and they are 880 and 881.
Assuming they're issuing them sequentially (which we have no proof they are), that's a lot that have been sold to just ST holders and members. And there were still a lot of people on the members list not crossed out - I'd estimate at least a third if not half.
I'd guess about 1,000 will go on general sale, perhaps a few more. Which is roughly the same as the Welling game.
But, getting back to Supporters Club members - it occurs to me that the more of these sold-out, all-ticket games we have, the more frustrated ticket buyers are going to join the Supporters Club, and we could end up with many hundreds claiming their 'guaranteed' tickets before they go on general sale. In theory, there's nothing to stop the number of members (plus ST holders, VPs and the away allocation) exceeding the ground capacity - so no tickets on general sale.
It would be interesting if Nadine or someone in the know could tell us how many members there are, and how much that figure grew with the first all-ticket game.

Stand tickets have seat numbers rather than sequential numbers so that's potentially another 400 that could have been sold.

Stand tickets have seat numbers rather than sequential numbers so that's potentially another 400 that could have been sold. In which case there could be substantially fewer going on general sale. If this cup run continues and we also do well in the FAT, we could soon be a situation where the only way to get tickets, if you're not a ST holder of a VP is to join the Supporters Club. And if this is happening in the IPL, presumably the pressure on tickets sales for big games is going to be even worse in a good season in the Conf Sth. Perhaps it's time Oliver and Terry gave some more serious thought to increasing the overall capacity of the Gallagher? 3,000 should be relatively easy to achieve (perhaps with just extra H&S improvements - like more emergency exits?) and would give us the capacity we're likely to need for big games and cup runs, without making the ground look half empty on normal league gates.

They have put some serious thought into increasing the capacity of the ground, they are extending the main stand and adding more extrances and exits. This is being done in the close season. The minimum capacity for the conf south is 3000, so they have to do it. www.maidstoneandmedwaynews.co.uk/Maidstone-United-owner-sees-Stevenage-replay/story-24514406-detail/story.html

Just a thought how long do you need to be a fan club member before you can have priority on ticketing ? I would image it was before sunday otherwise anyone would simply turn up pay £25 for a ticket not a lot for a game of this size sounds tempting.

I bought my ticket mid-afternoon yesterday & was given 967 so tickets don't appear to be in sequence. The guy in front of me was asking how many Season Ticket holders & Supporters Club Members there were and was told 600 & 320 respectively.

There was over 900 tickets on sale today, I would imagine they're all gone now.
