Commendable accuracy, if lacking comment on the alacrity with which the ref waved his yellow appendage.

Quite agree - and the referee seemed as attached to his yellow card as a teenager with the latest i-phone

I thought the referee was quite pathetic in the way that he allowed their number 5 to talk players into booking (Fleashare and Jay May)

Problem is some of our fans go ballistic about referees every week. Stood near a shitgibbon in the Elvis End who was giving yesterday's grief about every decision, even the ones he obviously got right. If you're always on their case it dilutes the impact when you get a real spunktrumptet like Hornchurch last year.

Ok, I'm probably going to look a complete numpty, but hey that's not unusual on here, but am I the only one who doesn't really know what a shitgibbon is? I mean is it just a generic insult or does it have a specific meaning?

Think of someone like the beer throwing tosser in the town end.
Ie, the young chap who threw the beer at the keeper was a complete shitgibbon.

The Springfield End, under which Elvis's ashes are scattered.

Should also explain that Elvis was indeed a massive character at the club who never saw us get back home and not the Elvis who was a fat club singer.

Massive indeed. I normally drink with his brother Martin in the aptly named Sir Alf Ramsey every Sunday.
