My God, I have never read so much drivel as the thread on Welling's forum moaning about our pitch, and our 'long ball' game. The only trophy they are going to win this year is one for the Biggest Bunch of Sour Losers. Well done Binsey and Dave U for doing battle with their ignorant rantings.

It just pisses me of when someone who's only seen us once bases their entire assessment of the way we play on that one experience.

There's so much more to our game this season, including the ability to adapt our game to exploit the opposition's weaknesses. The comment about the pitch not making any difference because the ball's never on it may have been true last year, but anyone who's seen us regularly this season will know how well we can pass the ball at times.

As you say, sour grapes at losing.

Ultimately the goal that sealed there fate was a very well worked move down the left wing which was finished off by Frannie in acres of space, no long ball in sight !!!!
