All good winning these cup games which is of course good for the club. But if we were to win on Saturday we could potetially only have about 2 league games in November or just one if we win two Trophy games in a row. I just hope these cups arent going to balls up our main aim and that is to go up.

I can see what your saying binsey but the cups are bringing extra money for the club, I wouldn't worry about the league games yet as there's plenty of time to catch up over winter, when other games are called off. Jay has gotten a stronger squad this year with more cover, hopefully get a draw against Stevenage and bring them back, even more money for the improvements , coys

Definitely a concern but depending on how Margate do and what happens when we play our games in hand it could all go swimmingly. Right now Margate have played two extra games and only have 1 extra point so we're in a good position. Had Margate won last night the situation would look a little bit more precarious but as it stands I'm feeling pretty confident despite the number of games we'll have to play.
We'll likely focus on having our key players fresh for the FA Cup so the Trophy game will probably see a few rested and we've got enough depth in my opinion to deal with the fixture backlog without needing to run players into the ground and enough of the season has passed to know which teams it's more sensible to rest players against.
It could all backfire or it could end up working out amazingly, a part of that will be down to Jay and the players and the other part down to luck. There's definitely pressure in having to play catch up but there's pressure in being chased too so I'm just going to hope for the best and trust Jay to bring us through it.

End of the day we play football to win games and that is what we are doing At some stage we will have a blip and Jay is Rotating the squad properly in these cups giving much needed playing time for the likes of Brown and Davies etc. why would we not want to get through.i would play some of the fringe players Saturday with some first teamers. We all know we're not gonna win the fa cup but we want to milk as much cash from it as we can .Our ground is set for some expensive improvements which is great for us moving forward. Agree league is still very much our main concern as we need this promotion to progress

Giving a real long term benefit to a cup run.
