Solid performance from a completely changed side tonight. Godman had an excellent game and Akrofi looked sharp and dangerous, a real prospect for us. Also really pleased to see Richard Davies playing. Played well at centre half and looked surprisingly sharp given the time he's had out, would be a real bonus for us if he could get back to where he was before his injury. Bromley had a lot of the ball but until the last 20 minutes didn't really hurt us, great shape throughout and it's clear that the winning mentality is running through the squad. Well done again to all involved, another good night with Margate losing the cherry on the cake. One final mention must go to the Bromley's speaker system which was the loudest I've ever heard at a match, definitely a case of let's all have a disco!!

Margate losing is great news and most unexpected. Get in!!!!!!!!!!! I know! I was stuck in front of my computer screen watching the live Ryman scores from 9.20 waiting for the final whistle at Enfield, the wife's hot toddy had to wait! And noticed more goals for Draycott and Booth, and even one for Ashley Miller.

Super stones go marching ooooooooooonnnnnnnn I can't remember the last time we had a season like this, where practically every game is great, and there is an optimistic buzz round the whole club. I am so excited by it all, it's better than the old Conference days for me (I missed a lot of those matches, particularly in the promotion season). What a treat to have an excellent team with excellent back up on the bench!

One final mention must go to the Bromley's speaker system which was the loudest I've ever heard at a match, definitely a case of let's all have a disco!! That got as few comments last night. Instead of the usual Tannoy horns we had big ass disco speakers with house music pumping out of them at half time. The announcements were clear, but had the odd effect that every substitution sounded a bit like a request being read out by the DJ at a wedding. A pity we didn't have music playing at the same time as the electronic subs board went up as we'd have had the full sound and light experience. On a related subject, how quickly did the stadium announcer start playing Chelsea Dagger when the Bromley goal went in. I swear it started before the ball even hit the back of the net. He either has lightning reactions or they're using goal line technology to trigger the music. They just need to connect the floodlights to a sound-to-light controller.

Personally don't agree with comment about Godman. Even before the penalty save he'd had a good game. What's more a Bromley fan commented to me how good Godman looked in goal. A good performance tonight, especially considering Bromley played a number of first team players It was based on the last time I saw him in goal. No question that he impressed tonight. I've seen him a few times now and to be fair the Cray game was completely out of character. He's very good for such a young keeper.
