Hi all, I just wondered how many new fans you got when you moved to the Gallagher, how many just popped up. Whether they are regulars or glory hunter's. What is the attraction? I know you get good away support, but when your closer the football league, there won't be space and a great stadium will go to waste! Thanks

At a rough guess, about 1,500. As for the future, the last place I want us to be is in the Football League - been there, didn't like it! Ideally we would finish 3rd in the Conference every season (i.e. the highest non-promotion spot), after having excellent runs in the F A Cup through to the 3rd round. But I wouldn't mind winning the F A Trophy.

Thanks I'm a bit confused by your post below from another discussion complete with "COYS". Which team do you support? Hi all, I wondered how much of Weliings allocation is left. I know that people from either side can't make it. I want this to be a sellout and break the record attendance. There are 2,332 tickets in the world so lets use them! 12th man COYS! See you all tomorrow . Thanks!!!

I'm 1st team scout for Ramsgate. I'm a supporter of football, I want maidstone to win and do well. I just want kent football to be in the best place possible and to me Welling doesn't count as Kent so let's beat them. See you all later!

Thanks Dear Tommy Virtually all of our supporters are glory hunters because they weren't there in the County League days

I saw us play Dartford on the old reserves pitch - £1 to get in, including a 'programme'.
Does that count?

A supporter is someone that comes to watch a game , whether it be once or twice a year or every week home and away ! There will be more during success than failure , but at the moment it will be high because our team are playing very very well ! It is entertaining so people will come and watch . There is no prizes for who has watched the most , just a better feeling / atmosphere when there is a big crowd COYS Gills at home or Portsmouth away please !

I have only just started going to maidstone united this season with my other half and my boy. And it was my son's idea and we have only missed 1 home game this season. Does that make us glory hunters or maidstone united supporters.

Aren't we all supporters? Glory hunters are those who only turn up for games like Saturday or the playoff final a couple of seasons ago. Anyone who comes to the bread and butter games even if it's only a few times a season is a supporter.
