No other words than say well done Maidstone, first class first half performance after going a goal down within the second minute, but recovered very quickly to level the score and then add a second goal, controlled the first half and only gave them the odd shot that Lee Worgan dealt easily with. In the second half Leiston tried to play to justify their league position but couldn't break us down, even when they were given a soft penalty, in came Lee once again to prove that although this year he has been more like a passenger as he has such a solid back four and midfield to protect him. I am sure that the majority of the crowd sought that we had let them back in until Lee "marvel" Worgan made his double penalty save, it woke us up and from then on there was only one team on the pitch. The subs were again a breath of fresh air, nice to see our latest recruit make his debut, he will be a hand full to any defender with his speed and tenacity to chase the ball. Once again Alex Flisher was our Man of the Match and was everywhere ... give me what he takes !! ... He was here, there and everywhere !! Should have been another challenge, but once again the strength of our squad proved too strong for our opposition ... better news was to follow with the demise of Margate ... 5 points clear now !! C'mon you STones !! ... and Dulwich slipping up as well !!!. It must be hard for the guys that can't start the game, but I hope that the exodus of players leaving stop and that these lads understand that they are very much part of a winning club !!

Any other game that double save would have earnt Worgs MOTM but can't give it anyone else but Flish after that. Also a special mention for Jay May who was a real handful all afternoon.

Two goals and two assists from Flisher, can't ask for much more.

Mills was great today and Worgs saved the game really, they were all over us for a bit and if the penalty went in it could have been fatal. Impossible to look past Flish though. Some great performances all round, Browny looked good when he came on too. Anything can happen in the Cup and the confidence this will give us going into the game certainly won't hurt us.

Good comeback and a relatively easy game in the end after worgs heroics with the penalty Could have been a different game if they had scored then flish was immense as usual and with the gate losing we are really putting pressure on them to perform I don't think we have deserved to lose a single game yet in about 20 games now and that says everything ? well done all involved and our best crowd of season to top off a great day proud stone here

Interesting to see that welling had 2 players sent off today which included their player manager Jamie Day and former Stone Jamie Turner, wonder if their ban will start immediately?

Even if it's Gillingham it's a big step up and who could deny him the chance. If he does move on, Alex Akrofi looks like he could do the same job. Also, since he's on a contract you would hope we'd get a decent fee for him.
