on what issues does iMUSC hold views which are significantly diffferent to those of the Club, so that the (percieved) loss of 'independence' would be too great a price to pay, even to ensure a ticket allocation? Effectively none, imusc was set up for supporters to have a collective voice should an issue arise! imusc committee members are in full support of the current owners and have been asked to participate further with the club on various matters we are currently fundraising for a scoreboard, all efforts by imusc are solely for the benefit for our club! But.......it may never happen but should the club be sold and we were to deal with people not as approachable as Terry, Oliver and Bill then the Independent Supporters Club would be in place to try and get the supporters view across

Whatever way its done people will moan. I am a season ticket holder so not bothered. However if I was a season ticket holder and I took my kids a long to every game I would probably have a view then.

Not sure if this has been suggested, but I thought we were trying to push e-tickets? Wouldn't this be the best way to sell them, or at least a batch of them to people who cannot get to the ground?

Does anyone really think this will sell out anyway? Based on this seasons lower home average, the fact the cup games have thus far been less well attended, and the fact that Welling are unlikely to bring too many, are we not all getting in a state about nothing? I'd love to see a full house for the game but up until it was made all ticket I didn't think it would sell out. It seems that by making it all ticket (noted that this followed Police advice) there is a panic setting in which is fuelling demand! What we could do with is a bit more terrace or seating space so that the ridiculous cap imposed on capacity is relaxed and we therefore avoid all ticket matches for all but the biggest games. Yes much ado about nothing . Just anals going on about something that will never eventuate.

It's unfortunate we've had this all-ticket set-up thrust on us as we do not have a sophisticated ticketing system in place. This will come in the future as we develop. At the moment it is far too expensive and not cost effective.
The present system means we have to rely on outsourcing the ticket printing and this takes a little longer than we’d like.
Our agreement with Vice Presidents, season ticket holders and Maidstone United Fan Club members is that they have priority booking and it is a difficult balancing act to give all those people the first opportunity as we’ve agreed.
We’ve had to make a timetable that would firstly meet our contractual obligations and still give everybody the opportunity to purchase a ticket. Our priority is to make sure that every one of our regular supporters gets a ticket and that not one of them is disappointed.
If there are any absolute exceptions who cannot make these timeslots, I am quite happy to speak to them on the club telephone number and somehow make sure they get a ticket.

So we have just under 2000 , will be interesting to see how quickly they are snapped up. I guess if the welling ones go there's nothing stopping them from coming to get some of ours

They don't seem to be overly pleased with their allocation either but not sure what they really expected.

They don't seem to be overly pleased with their allocation either but not sure what they really expected. Obviously we're giving them what we're supposed to but I'd be disappointed too if I were them. I'm sure most of us are disappointed that we could be selling hundreds more tickets but there just isn't the capacity! It's obviously a strange situation at this level since we're quite often close to our capacity whereas you have plenty of teams in non-league with capacities of 3,000-5,000 (at grounds with facilities that clearly could not actually cope with those kind of attendances) and crowds in the low hundreds. Just had a look on the Welling forum to see what they're saying and they seem like a good bunch, a few hundred of them should be enough to contribute to a great cup day atmosphere going in the Gallagher.

Wind ups / Moans / NWS' face aside, whatever the club announces with regards to tickets somebody somewhere will be pissy about it. Ha ha...wait until I get the backs seats in the press area on a rainy day and then see you whining on. There will always be someone who is not happy. I agree. I just don't see why everyone has to travel back to the ground on a different day when they will be there Saturday (bad for the environment for a start). myself and the font of knowledge that is Binsey have already noted that this situation represents a great chance to potentially get a full house this Saturday as well. It seems and opportunity missed to me.

I am taking that idea praise back Tim because what will happen is poeple with a season ticket could quite easlily purchase two tickets on the same day. Not under my system whereby you use your entry ticket to the game on saturday as a voucher allowing you to buy a ticket for the Welling game. After that you could offer season ticket holders and VPs their tickets on Sunday and the remainder on general sale on Monday. That way those that turned up Saturday would be able to get a ticket on Saturday.
