One assumes it's for congestion outside the ground rather than shenanigans in it.

Nice one now people that go every week but don't have doss jobs were you don't have to really go to work are going to miss out cos they can't get there for the general sale. Poxy old bill never there when you want them. Always there when you don't.

Hopefully will be on general sale at Saturday's game so regulars will get a chance to buy them, also a home game on Tuesday night if any left by then. With Welling generally getting about 550 at home, can't imagine they'd sell more than about 200 so should be over 2000 for home supporters.

If they do get 450ish and can't sell them all, what happens to the unsold ones?
Also, as the game isn't segregated, what's to stop Stones fans buying tickets at Welling?

I guess Welling will do the same as us and offer them to season ticket holders first. Of course once they go on general sale in both Maidstone and Welling there will be nothing to stop anyone buying them regardless of who they support.

Presumably unsold tickets are returned for general sale in Maidstone in the normal way, and as the game is not segregated that won't cause any problems. Doesn't matter if Welling only normally take away three men and a dog, they are entitled to 450 tickets. As for the draw, my bet is both sets of supporters probably heard it and didn't fancy it for being quite tough at this stage. But one team will go through, so why not us?

Tonbridge Angels beat Welling 3 - 1 at home last night. Got to be a good result for Maidstone seeing as Tonbridge aren't in fantastic form this season and still won? You have to imagine Welling put out a weaker team in a cup game like this though...?

You'd imagine they're going to field a much stronger team in the FA cup, purely because it's worth such a nice chunk of money...

If we were the away team we would expect the percentage we are entitled to so why shouldnt Welling get theirs. As for segregation no need providing everyone behaves. The only concern maybe the fans who only come out for the big games or no prem or championship games for the more local teams like Charlton or Palace
